Duplicating an espresso-like coffee using a Keurig system is a challenging task. Green Mountain/Timothy's has taken a long step in this direction, but it still lacks the punch that I expect from a "real" cup of espresso. Let's call it an espresso-ish flavor that is not too strong or weak. I suppose that a cup could be made more remarkable by using less water, but this seems wasteful when you really want a whole cup of coffee to start your day.The company should continue to develop a more distinct flavor that would bring it in consonance with customer expectations for espresso-style coffee, or just re-label it as something else with the word Bold in the title. A strong espresso flavor from a Keurig system would be an exceptional product in my opinion.

I bought these k-cups for my Keurig machine after deciding I wanted to try a darker tasting roast. And these delivered perfectly!The title is a tad misleading, as they are not espresso cups but rather just a dark roast. Still, they are very rich, and do not lose very much flavor with each increase in cup size. It is definitely a bold cup- not for the faint of heart nor frappucino drinkers.It tastes great alone if you're into that, but also holds up nicely with some milk and sweetener.None of the seals on my order were broken, nor was it missing any. I have ordered these twice now and each time they were perfect.Happy coffee-ing!

I had hopes that this espresso roast coffee would have that delicious espresso bite I was seeking. Instead, it tastes like warm water strained through a used coffee filter. I own 2 boxes which I will give away to someone. In fairness, I've read a huge number of complaints about various Keurig K pod coffees tasting weak like this. I am new to the Keurig world as my long time Verismo machine had to be retired. Starbuck Verismo espresso pods always mad a very rich & tasty cup!

I search a lot for something very bold that was close to an espresso. I don’t believe that this coffee holds up to its claims. It taste more like a medium roast I’ve had the box for a very long time and I have continued to purchase Starbucks Sumatra, Which I believe to be the most superior coffee pod I have come across yet. For my taste… You know.
