I fell on my right shoulder in 2006, which was mildly painful over the years, but manageable. I had an old sling I used when I first fell, and it was good enough. I've since developed Osteoarthritis in that shoulder, and the other day, had a huge flareup that was really painful and felt like it was spasming. I knew the only way to help it heal was with a sling. My old one just didn't do the trick, so I looked for a better one, and this sling is DEFINITELY the one! I ordered a Small size - I'm 5' 2", 103 lbs. - and it fit perfectly! The sling stays up on my elbow, the old one kept slipping off. It has a nice wide strap that goes over my left shoulder, with a removable cushioning strap for the shoulder and attaches to the arm part of the sling with a nice big snap in buckle - easy on, easy off by myself. The length of the strap is adjustable for the perfect fit. My old sling had an adjustment thing that rested right in the middle of my back - OUCH! My new sling is just perfect - well made, heavy duty and SO comfortable! HIGHLY Recommend!!

After I broke my humerous the hospital gave me a sling that was flimsy and uncomfortable, and charged me three times what this sling cost. This one is comfy, easy to put on, and I love the place for my cell phone!

I needed a sling to wear for six weeks after a shoulder replacement. There are several aspects of this sling that I like. It is one of the most comfortable I tried. It has a pocket that fits a phone or other small items you can conveniently carry with you. It can be worn with either arm. My favorite aspect is the snap that makes it easy to take the sling on and off without further adjustments and help from others.The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is personal. I live in Texas where it is very hot in the summer. The sling is heavy and does not breathe very well, so it is uncomfortable in the heat.

I’m a 5’4”, 130lbs, 32” bra woman. This sling is super comfy. The padding on the strap is a neck/skin saver! The pocket helps you carry things with you. You can fit smaller items fully (keys, sunglasses, pens, small notepads, etc) but an iPhone does not fit snuggly inside. It will fit vertically but be wary of bending over because it will fall out. I love that’s its dark too (the one I was given at the hospital was white - whose stupid idea was that?!?). The clip part is WONDERFUL!!! Why all slings don’t have it is beyond me. Instead of having to indoor then redo the Velcro messing up the fit or having to lift it over your head, the clip is perfection!!!!The fabric is much thicker than the mesh one from the hospital though. Which does make it more comfortable but also makes it warmer. Winter time awesome but will definitely make you sweat in the summer. I suppose if you had small enough ice packs you could put the I’m the pockets to help with that though.Looks like it will wash well in the washing machine but won’t know for sure until I do so. I’ll probably put it in a garment bag when I do on a gentle cycle.All in all a fabulous purchase which has made my life with a torn rotator cuff a little more comfortable!

Have a pinched nerve and the slam that I got from the hospital with a horrible support system for my neck and my arm. Then I found this on Amazon and it has changed my life, comfy supports perfectly. I'm not having to constantly readjust anything at times I will have to readjust how tight I have it around my neck. I'll loosen it up at times other than that it's great love the pockets. Phone fits perfectly. I don't have an issue with it falling out. I didn't realize it came with pockets on both sides so that came in handy for my AirPods definitely worth the purchase.

The ER sling sucks. This one was a breath of fresh air. Very comfortable and my arm feels so much more secure

This product gives me mixed feelings. It absolutely is sized poorly, but on the other hand it did really help my torn shoulder pain.For reference, I am 5'6", 155 lbs, 13.5" forearm. I first ordered a medium based on the size chart in the listing. It was huge (several inches too big) and definitely could be called a large. So, I returned it and purchased a small.The small has a shoulder strap that is far too short for the length of the sling. The problem with these is they seemed designed for someone with a very short torso, short upper arms, and long forearms. The strap is incredibly short even at its longest position. The pockets on the sling absolutely will not fit a cell phone (or anything else) like in the listing.The thumb loop is a nice feature, and definitely keeps this oddly sized sling in place. The sling itself is soft and comfortable and the straps are very soft as well, but when secured the strap is very tight against the neck because it is so short. I love the snap design to secure the strap - it makes it really easy to get on and off.Overall, this is a great idea that was just executed poorly. However, I am keeping the small despite it being tight on my neck because it did really help my pain and is an upgrade from the cheap nylon ones I got at the medical supply.
