The chess board I got definitely match the description of what the seller had advertised. The board and its pieces have a very smooth finish. A really soft touch feel when you move the pieces about. Folds easily with a solid locking system. Really nice finishing on the chess board itself. Overall an excellent product. Price is not too bad either. Only thing I would say is maybe if the board can be provided with a pouch or bag to help store it.

Nice set, decent size, probably a bit big for travelling, but great on a table top. Not fiddly, good materials and design. Very happy with this purchase.

I was expecting a set that was less well-finished than this, but I'm delighted with the quality of the folding board and of the finely-shaped pieces.

As described. This is wonderful product. Excellent quality and size. My 5 years old son son loves it.

The media could not be loaded.  A nice folding chess board set.All the items are mainly wooden.The board is well-made.It is lightweight with matching golden-coloured hinges. The wooden chess pieces have a cloth-type base. If the board is moved or is uneven, the pieces will slide off easily. If not magnetic, a non-slip base would have been better.The set is still reasonable for the price.

Quite a good quality folding chess set. The board is better than the pieces, but that isn't a criticism. Four stars.

This is a lovely travel chess set.My only warning is that some people would prefer a magnetic set for travel (though such sets are often plastic). If you don't want that, this is superb.
