I have gone through a number of teapots over the years and abandoned them all until THIS one. Smartly designed and the spout does NOT drip at all which is a problem I've had with all other pots previously. The size is perfect for four people or two people who drink several cups at a single sitting. Love that the tea stays drinkably warm with the use of a simple tealight. The satin matte textured finish is elegant and minimalist; easy to clean. The top fits snuggly on the top with a built in notch and the tea basket extends well down into the pot to steep properly. The basket also has a handy pull-up handle to make removal of the basket easy. You can use loose teas of course, but I just use tea bags in the basket anyway for an even easier clean up. Highly recommended and would buy again if needed!

Decided on this after shopping for a long time. The black gives a clean look, the handle has plenty room for fingers and pours well with no drip. I consider the strainer, pot and pot stand over the tea candle to be of great quality and heavy duty. The tea candle stand to set it in was worth purchasing.. My tea stays nicely warm.

Finally got to use my tea pot and warmer and I am really enjoying it. Beautiful design, holds a good amount of tea and best of all my tea stays warm. I use the warmer and tea pot on the patio and I enjoy just the tea pot indoors. This makes a great gift to yourself or a tea lover you know

The pot retains heat for an extended period as advertised. Other reviews note that the spout does drip, and indeed it does -- not much but it does. If not for the drip I would have rated this a "5". The pot is thick, appears durable, and is a fair value for the cost. Overall, I am pleased with this purchase.

Is tea pot is amazing!! 100% Doesn't drip. The color last, its a good size, a strainers included and the lid keeps everything locked tight. You're unable to put this on a stove directly, But I highly recommend it. Just add the hot water and let it do its thing!!

Brews loose leaf or tea bags very well. Infuser is easy to use, has small enough holes so loose tea does not escape into the water but large enough to hold several tea bags. Water stays hot, love the spot for a tea light to help keep tea warm. Tea pours very well, great design. You do need to boil water & pour into tea pot. You could probably make some tea using only tap water & tea light but it wouldn’t be “hot”.

This is an excellent teapot. First let me address some bad reviews I saw and give my opinion. This is NOT a "Tea Kettle". It is not made for a stove top and also NOT made to go into a microwave. And while that it says dishwasher safe, that does not mean heated dry in the dishwasher safe. It only means you can wash it in one. This is a teapot. Made to pour boiled water into and let tea steap on a counter OR over its ceramic base with a tea light candle. It is not a kettle it will NOT whistle, it's a TEA POT. Also, 2 hours in with the pot on the ceramic base with a lit tea light and the tea is drinkable hot. Not to hot as to burn your mouth, but hot. Not warm. And the less tea the Hotter it gets ! Also. It IS a German teapot but the distributer is in China. I know because I did the research. This is a very common. I have no complaints other than that black is the only color Amazon carries. So my advice is : Know the difference between Teapot and Tea Kettle and hand wash. You won't be disappointed.

I searched for a long time and decided to give this teapot a try, it works well, I bought tea candles to use for it and the tea stays hot and provides enough tea for two people to have two cups each. It comes with a filter basket for loose leaf tea it is well built all around and the package was well done. Nothing broke during shipping.
