Just like a regular lash curler. The heat doesn't help with hold at all. I have very straight lashes and I was hoping this curler would do the trick, but NO.

I usually use a lash curler with my blow dryer. I thought this product would work with all the reviews. I tried a couple times but it pinches your skin. It curls but it doesn’t stay long even with mascara. I wish it worked🥲for me.

I have never tried a heated eyelash curler before, and when I took this one out of the package, I was highly skeptical. It looked like some cheaply made plastic kid's toy. But let me tell you, I was incredibly impressed! I've owned this for a couple months, and waited to write my review because I wanted to make sure that my eyelashes wouldn't spontaneously fall out one day after daily use. Happy to say, they're all still there! When they say your eyelashes will stay curled for 24 hours, they mean it. They will stay curled until you wash your face with soap. Not even wiping your lashes with micellar water makes them go uncurled. My lashes are naturally on the longer side so I don't know how this will work with other kinds of lashes. These are some things I've discovered about this nifty little tool. 1. Turn it on and let it sit at least 5 minutes before you curl your lashes. If you don't let it heat at least 5 minutes, it won't do as good of a job. 2. If you use mascara after curling your lashes with this, it basically acts as a regular eyelash curler. The magic happens when you just curl your lashes and leave them like that without mascara. 3. This tool needs to be recharged regularly so it can heat effectively. It has a C port charger. Also, I gather up as many lashes as I can and press down as close to my lid as possible (don't go so close it burns of course) and wait 10 seconds. The curl is incredible! Recommend 100%

I mean… It works but I don’t like the harsh crimp that you get. If you don’t get your lashes in there perfectly straight, you end up with your lashes going in all kinds of ungodly directions. Looks like my lashes are throwing gang signs. God forbid you get any of your lower lashes in there cause I think mine are permanently going the wrong direction now. It looks like when you crease a piece of paper rather than a smooth curl.I prefer the style that has the little arm that comes down and holds your lashes in place like a little curling iron. I wouldn’t buy this again.

I anticipated this product, when I first got it out of the box, to either not work from the start or light my lashes on fire. However, I still threw all caution to the wind and turned the item on. You know it’s ready for your lashes when the gummy-like material where you clamp your lashes turns from red to clear/white. You use the item like you would a typical lash curler, hold it for 8-10 seconds and holy smokes- it REALLY WORKS!! I quickly threw a coat of mascara on to have it keep its shape and did the other eye. It worked again- seriously!! And no lashes were burnt off, none were clamped off, ripped off or no skin got pinched in the process! Seriously, I was blown away. I’ve used it each day for 2 weeks now and it still works as great as it did the first day! I put my mascara on after curling, I believe the directions say to do that before but I am afraid of clumping. I have straight, long, heavy lashes and the curl lasts about 4-5 hours. I have tried to curl them at that 4-5 hour mark (with the old mascara still on) and again- nice curl with no clumps! I hope yours will work as good as mine does because I’m sincerely impressed!! I’ll be buying a few more just for when it finally breaks- I mean for $20/$22 bucks you know it will one day, just so I have another ready to go! 💛
