Great value for money and very well built
Great bit of kit. Been in garden few months now and cover still intact and no signs of rust or ware n tear on stand and unit it's self.Good value for money . Great for drying larger items as well as we drape the tent n ground sheet over the whole unit. Sill rotating.

Measure your space against the diameter of the opened line so it doesn't foul anything once opened.
I bought the black one : very stylish! This rotary washing line comes complete with a (very stylish!) line cover for rainy days, a steel stake and a small length of plastic pipe. There may be people who've never owned a rotary line before, so here I'm not trying to teach grandma to suck eggs, I'm only saying what the parts are for. When positioning the line, it's a good idea to measure the width of the open line, first. Then ensure that wherever you're going to put the line, the "rays" won't clout the wall/door of your house, garage, shed, etc. Then bang the steel stake into the ground: *don't* use a metal hammer! Or you'll damage the top of the stake. Use a large rubber mallet, or a put a piece of wood on top of the stake and use a club hammer to drive it into the ground. Then drop the plastic pipe into the stake and drop the washing line into the pipe. Done! 🤗✅

Definitely don't recommend this.
This worked great until we had to put it down. This is where the fun began. It was tough to open the first time, which is to be expected. Where we are, it gets quite windy at times, so a time came where we had to close it up.Well..... Now, we can't actually open it again. My partner is not a weak man, and he is even struggling to open it.I have even stood on it tobtry and push it up whilst simultaneously pulling, to try and open it fully. This just resulted in a dislocated wrist! Now, it's not the line. That is still slightly slack. It is the actual mechanism. It appears that it won't actually push up past the bit that locks it in place.I don't know if we just got a dodgy one, that is possible, but it has resulted in us having an un-usable rotary line and me having a dislocated wrist.
