Compre estos Thai pads como regalo para mi pareja ya que los dos practicamos Muay Thai, los usamos juntos y a ambos nos encantaron. Para empezar la calidad se ve y se siente desde que los abres, 100% de piel, el diseño y los colores muy bonitos, los ajustes de los brazos tienen unas colchonetas para que no te calen. No son ni demasiado duros ni demasiado aguados, tienen el equilibrio perfecto para sentirte muy cómodo golpeando o pateando, tal vez al principio sí se sienten un poco duros porque están nuevos, pero con un poco de uso se amoldan y todo bien. Definitivamente los recomiendo, realmente son una gran inversión, aunque el precio es un poco elevado comparado con otros thai pads de menor gama, estos Fairtex son de excelente calidad y que van a durar, vale mucho la pena dar ese brinco a la gama alta si eres una persona que entrena a diario.

I contacted Fairtex to ask about maintenance, and they said that they don't have ANY recommendations as far as care. Really? The leading brand of thai pads for decades running? They just say that the recommend keeping the product away from moisture. I will PERSONALLY recommend using Neatsfoot oil (or whatever else you use on leather). A TEENY bit goes a long way. Every couple of months probably -- a really small amount, and follow the directions as for any other leather product. So IF YOU BUY THIS -- GET SOME NEATSFOOT OIL (or other leather maitnenance oil that's used for baseball gloves or anything else) -- IT WILL KEEP IT IN GREAT SHAPE. Anyway, Pros and Cons: Cons: -No recommendation for oils for maintenance -- I chose to ignore that and use neatsfoot oil -A bit heavy, but that's surely to be expected here -Velcrow technology -- but to be fair, I don't know what even would work better. Luckily the construction is good enough to replace the velcrow straps some day if you wanted to Pros: -FANTASTIC construction and build quality -Very good padding (I don't know why anyone would need the thicker version -- I take kicks from a Pro heavyweight with these, and I can't imagine needing anything thicker) -Solid handle -Really good looking (and I like the targets)

It's been years since I last purchased a new set of kick pads. My old Fairtex pads lasted 10 years of really heavy use and hard training! They are still usable but I figured it's time for a refresh (straps getting uncomfortable from wear but the pads themselves are still great), and I look to the best, which is Fairtex. What can I say, these are amazing pads in every way! They are lighter than traditional pads, but are able to absorb hard kicks just the same! In terms of quality, what can I say, these are Fairtex and having a new pair of pads after such a long time I am very happy that Fairtex had maintained their top-notch quality. The attention to detail is clear the moment you put them in your hands. The combination of soft and hard leather in the right places, the perfect cuts, and tight stitching is better than my Italian sofa! These are hand crafted in Thailand and it shows! Bottom line is these are more expensive than most other brands of pads, but it's like buying a Toyota versus a Kia. These are the ABSOLUTE BEST kick pads money can buy and will last you years! They are worth every penny!

Die Pads wurden schnell geliefert und kamen in einwandfreiem Zustand an. Die Pads selbst sind fantastisch, hervorragendes Material, ausgezeichnet verarbeitet, äusserst stabil und gut zu verwenden. Dank der Klettverschlüsse lassen sich die Pads schnell an- und ablegen und gut an den Arm anpassen. Sie sind sehr gut geeignet für das Training praktisch aller Kick- und Punch-Techniken. Ich habe die Pads jetzt seit 2 Jahren, bislang keinerlei Mängel.
