Taste No. 5 Umami Paste 70 g (Pack of 4)

Was pleased to be able to find this paste. I don't use it often, but it does what I want it to.

I bought this after buying her cookery book 'flash Cooking' as it is recommended in there. The taste is unique and adds an unusual depth and flavour to most dishes. Great to have in your store cupboard although I feel it is a little expensive.

Who'd've thought so much flavour could come out of such a small tube! Great value too and it really does transform most dishes with a simple squirt!

Bought the 4 pack as i thought it would make unusual first footing (hogmanay) gifts. Unfortunately all of the tubes are dated best before Dec 2013. I had read product details, saw no mention of BBD. Sadly... I assumed that there would be at least a year to 2 year or longer BBD as in local supermarket. Learned my lesson well, no longer will i purchase food items online. :(Prime delivery was great. I'd give the Prime delivery service 5 stars.This item... 1 star, and i only give it that as i felt mean leaving it blank. Paste it's self, well after i quickly use up 4 tubes i'll let you know. :p

Yummy .... adds that certain something to any dish, still on first tube as little required to enhance cooking. Would recommend to any cook wanting to add that special something.

This certainly adds something to meat and savoury dishes but it's hard to say exactly what. Give it a try!

I had heard so much about this product before buying, but was dissapointed, did not seem to make any of the meals i cooked more tasty at all..
