This tool is a wonder for making flower beds in areas with a lot of tree roots and deep weeds. It is marvelous! It is sharp and easy to handle. Makes short work of difficult tasks. The ground under the windows was awful. But look at the resultsBe careful. It is very sharp.

Would have given it 5stars if it had came sharp. I've gotten it a little sharper but i only have a small hand sharpener to work with.

It seems such a simple tool design, but once you use it, you'll wish you had sooner. It arrived wickedly sharp and has held its edge quite well with usage.Because the blade offset is to the left, it is really best used right-handed. Occasionally, real world circumstances make a gardener wish the tool was "reversible" to be able to hoe and cut to the right of the users hand instead of the left side, but it's a small trade off for how well it works otherwise.Full disclosure: I left my first purchased tool outside long enough for it to rust-this thing IS NOT rustproof. Do better than I did and store it in a protected environment after properly cleaning it. However, the rust was only aesthetic and did nothing to negatively impact the tool's usability. I will certainly continue to use it. I ordered a second one that I intend to keep "pretty." Happy hoeing.

This small tool is excellent for my elderly wife. She can sit down and hoe slowly and remove weeds from her flower beds. It's easy to control and one edge is very sharp.
