Perfect Fit
Bought this to prevent the snails from getting sucked into the Aquaclear. Perfect fit, love it.

Very sturdy. Good design.
It's a better design and sturdier build than the original piece that my filter came with (original one snapped where it connects to the intake tube). I was a bit concerned that it would reduce suction because it has holes instead of slots like the part I replaced, but it works great. I also added a coarse filter sponge over it to keep my shrimp from getting sucked in and the smooth, tapered design made the sponge slide on easily but it holds in place really well.

Perfect fit, great flow, Mbuna fry safe
This works great on my fluval 307. Doesn’t clog and restrict flow like a prefilter sponge. Holes are small enough for my Mbuna fry to not get through. Love it!

Fits Fluvall 307 intake perfectly
If you are looking for the one that fits the Fluval 307 intake - this is it. Simply pull off the entire strainer assembly on the stock intake tube and this perfectly fits on the tube.Keeps my shrimp safe from being sucked up by the filter. Zero problems priming filter. Highly recommend!
