Good value brushes
Nice to hold and nylon is of good quality. My only gripe is that the O rings are prone to coming off. Otherwise very good brushes.

Give them a try and see what you think!
I wasn't sure what to make of these at first - they are totally different from usual brushes. I experimented with both until I decided the Staggs were best and more versatile. The wooden handles are great for bosa nova and the brushes fine for jazz. I put some rubber heads on the ends of the handles to quieten down drum rolls. Give them a try and see what you think!

Value for the money
Good enough for my lad, he has been playing for around a year and this provides him with another option.Sturdy construction and will last if looked after. Only issue is not to retract all the way back as the brushes get stuck in the cartridge and can be difficult to push through again.. otherwise for the money they're good

Not quite distinctive enough
Other reviews led me to think these would be a robust upgrade on conventional wire brushes but the leap is not huge. I'm not sure quite where they sit in the percussionist's armoury. Nothing wrong with the build quality but not an essential purchase in my opinion

Nice thin wires
Nice thin wires, and good-looking, wooden-handled brushes but as with most Stagg gear, it's cheap and cheerful. One brush here stuck in open position the first time out and it took a lot of pulling and WD40 to get the wretched thing back! Too much hassle to return 'em to Rattle & Drum and I'll just be gentle with them in future. You get what you pay for - these aren't state of the art but what would you want for a tenner anyway!? The plastic container is useful though if you want to keep them apart from your stick bag.

Work as expected but the grip is a little fat for me
