Is OK for one person but too small for making anything in it for two people.

Good, compact size for camping etc. Very well made with clever storage of the utensils it comes with. Fixed handle and hinges, so the wrong item for my purpose.

We have a micro camper and thought we would try this to have toasted sandwiches when out and about. Ham and Cheese sandwich pre prepared we got out the camping stove. Placed the sandwich in and put it on the heat. With in two minutes one side had burned. That's totally my fault as had the flame full on as I thought it would take a while to heat up!. Was I wrong this thing is amazing!. Turned the heating down and keep an eye on it,turning often is the key as it heats the sandwich through.Turns a somewhat bland sandwich into something a little special!. Looking forward to trying out different fillings!.

Loving the versatility of this neat little griddle pan/toastie maker.Fast food on road trips, day trips and campouts.For size comparison this small Ridgemonkey fits a slice of bread on the base and fits a toastie just right, so if you need two toasties you can be enjoying or sharing the first one while the second one is toasting and you get two hot toasties and not a cold one! So what fits inside a sandwich has enough room to be cooked in the griddle.Remember to keep turning your Ridgemonkey over for toasted sandwiches as the thin bases are designed to cook fast so things will burn if left too long.When applicable make your toastie at home, wrap in foil or baking paper and then you can pop it in your Ridgemonkey as is to toast it if you don't want melted cheese spilling out!
