Greenkey 755 Metal Riddle (8mm mesh), Green

Needed a decent sieve to try and get something usable out of the garden compost. Got this one. Very pleased with the quality. There is something more enjoyable about using a proper metal sieve rather than those green plastic ones that are everywhere. Grill size is good.Now for the best bit: This sieve fits my 30 liter planting containers perfectly!! See photo. It could not be better - slots straight in, is held firmly, lifts out easily. This makes sieving so much easier. My method: I put the sieve into the bucket, dump on rough compost, grab bucket handles (not the sieve) and shake!! Works like a dream. To be honest, this might also work with other sieves, I don't know, but it definitely works with this one and I'm well chuffed. (small things please small minds. What can I say:)

The riddle appears to be quite sturdy & hopefully long lasting. It is too fine for very heavy sticky clay, but works well with most other soils, & I was able to remove most plastic & glass shards & metal as well as stones from my soil

Sturdy and Good Value

I totally like it - Easy to remove soil from weeds that would otherwise make a wheelie bin heavy.I found it very useful as fine soil comes out - I place it on a bucket and easy to use all over the garden.

Good build quality and does a decent job. I sieved through at least 200 litres of compost and soil that had stones, weeds and bits of bark in and it did a good job of separating what I wanted out of it. Not too heavy, so sieving won't take it out of your arms too much either.

Happy with the sieve. I used it to get rid of medium gravel that had ended up into the flower beds and I M happy with the results.The smaller gravel pebbles went through, in accordance with the grid size.It’s been stored in a flimsy shed for a couple of months and so far no signs of weather damage.

This has been a godsend in my pond-building project - I've been sifting the soil to provide a good base for the pond and it's such a great tool to use. Really sturdy, can use it to grind up large clods of earth and it handles stones and rocks really well.

Purtroppo la rete del setaccio è collegata alla struttura principale in modo tale che non impedisce l'eventualità (la certezza nel mio caso) che i sassolini setacciati si incastrino tra rete e struttura allentandola gradualmente fino al distacco. Fenomeno verificatosi due volte. Mi arrendo e passerò ad altro prodotto. Peccato perché per il resto il setaccio si è rivelato -finché non si distacca la rete- funzionale alle mie esigenze

Ich habe mir das Gartensieb für unseren Thermokomposter mit 360 l Inhalt gekauft (d.h. überschaubares Volumen) und am Wochenende kam das Sieb zum ersten Mal zum Einsatz. Das Sieb ist wie beschrieben aus Metall ist. Das Gitter und der Rahmen sind fest miteinander verbunden, so dass ich von einer langen Haltbarkeit ausgehe. Die Größe von ca. 30 cm im Durchmesser hat sich als sehr praktisch herausgestellt: zum einen wird das gefüllte Sieb dann nicht zu schwer und zum anderen: der Auffangbehälter sollte etwas größer sein, damit der gesiebte Kompost auch im Behälter landet und nicht daneben. Die Maschenweite ist genau richtig, um Steine usw. auszusieben.

um die erde in einen kübel zu sieben. ich hab es mir gekauft, weil ich mit einem großen wurfsieb nichts anfangen kann. das wäre mir einfach zu mühsam. das greenkey gartensieb ist robust und die größe der maschen passt auch. hält die größeren steine und auch wurzeln zurück, ganz kleine steine und samen fallen natürlich durch.
