Save ur money buy something else.
The build quality is not good and it does wiggle when I plug it in. And they're already scratches and dents on the product yourself.

Screws up audio
As someone who really enjoys gaming, I thought this would be a really good product to buy to help increase my gaming performance. However, that was not the case. It would screw up my audio every time I turned it on and off my Xbox and had a hard time fitting in the port that it was supposed to go in. It was convenient to just tap the mute button but every once and a while i would hear a pop sound in my headset and there would be no audio until I restarted my Xbox, there are much better options than this. Would not recommend.

Plugged right in and worked fine
This headset adapter for the older generation Xbox One controllers works fine. I was able to finally use modern headsets with my older controller, since they all use the standard audio plug, and the old controller does not come equipped with that plug for some reason (to force sales of Microsoft's proprietary headphones). This does away with the need for that, which is good. The sound quality is so-so. It isn't premium HD sound, and my headset is pretty decent, so I think there is some quality loss from the adapter itself. It isn't too bad, as you can still clearly hear your party, and they can hear you just fine as well. My biggest concern is the price. This adapter is $27 at the time of this review, which is astronomical for what little it does! That's halfway to a new Xbox controller that already comes equipped with the audio port that the originals didn't have, which is a much better purchase anyway! Skip this at this high price unless you have deep nostalgia for wanting to use and older controller. I'd suggest just buying a new one and using that instead of requiring an adapter!
