Exactly what I was looking for!
I just had a total knee replacement and I'm supposed to wear compression stockings for a few weeks. The ones the hospital gave me only came up to my knee...yeah, the one that was just operated on. I went looking for thigh-highs that would stay put, and these absolutely fit the bill. They are comfortable while providing the compression I need. The only "problem" is that they were a bit too long for my 5-ft frame; I put them on, pulled them up until there were no wrinkles, leaving the extra length at the toes, and then cut off the extra. Open-toed stockings, but who cares??

Awesome. Tiny shoe size.. Med/lg thigh. Black XxL, full toe.
First- I am a super short chick with the smallest adult feet on the planet. Honestly, I can't even fit into an american size 4 big kid. I Usually wear a 2 big kid, and there's typically no chance with any womens shoe line- where, if I am lucky, then the line starts at size 5 and still it's like, what is the point in trying when I know they're already too big as is..That being said- these suprisingly fit my feet well. I asume that's because they stretch so they're naturally cut smaller. Which is nice cause that means very little pool-over with my super small feet. You, most likely, have bigger feet and I expect they would stretch nicely and be fine for you too. That being said- as for the thigh high portion.I have thicker, athletic thighs and for a 5'2" or 3" ish woman- I can pull the XxL up to my cheeks, if I so choose, but I usually keep them around slightly higher than mid thigh and still there is no scruntch, and virtually NO fat-roll-muffin-spillage. They stay.. All day. Do I have to adjust a little- sure, an hour or two into alot of movement. Specifically, if I am working out in them, walking, and using my legs alot. However, when I say adjust. That means by centimeters or an inch, maybe two, and they do not roll or look fuggly. They stay up around the thickest part of my thighs, they hold their shape, and have never fallen beyond my knee. Not even close! I've worn them all day. They never look bad either. I'm very much a tights/pantyhose person and these give you that effortless kawaii thigh high look, without the hassle of full tights that rip often or have a need for garters. These are sturdy. I CAN PULL AND TUG WITHOUT FEAR!Now, I know you shouldn't dry elastics in the dryer.. But I have once already and they haven't really changed their compression very much.. If at all..As for the compression, it feels nice. That's up to you really. I am the type of gall who likes everything tight, not loose. Which everyone else freaks out over.. So to me, it's nothing. I could size down alot and probably be fine with the compression, but I mostly got them to work out in, and occasionally an outfit or two. The compression feels tight, but a good sense of tightness. They're cute. They're tight. They're sturdy. I have yet to need a garter. I have no fear of them holding up through a workout, or sparing- plus, they also come across classy enough to dress up- if you wanted too. They're full black out, pretty much- and they can honestly go sporty, kawaii school girl, or sexy little black dress and heels. In my opinion. None be the wiser.. My husband also said that they're cute and look nice. So.. Take that as you will.Overall, top notch.. Again, i'm only reviewing this because I want these to stick around. As for the health benefits, spider veins, ect.. Unsure, but my legs DO feel great afterwards. I feel slightly more flexible in a workout when wearing them. You do actually feel them, but it's not distracting. Unless of course, you're a giant.. so I suppose that's something.I really, really like these. Will buy again.

good compression but 2nd pair is shorter
the first pair was good compression and it come up to high thigh area. so I brought the second pair. .. it's much shorter, it come up barely to the mid thigh. but I need it so I didn't return it so that why a 4 star. it provide good compression... I had vein ablation done. I would buy more but worry I would get the short pair again.

Did not fit
Was very careful in following what size to order directions, but they still did not fit properly. They would not stay up around my thighs and kept sliding down. Also, way to tight around the bottomelastic band.

As good as the $100 pairs from jobst!
I have purchased MANY compression tights and these are by far the best quality and as good as the prescription tights that sell for $90 or more. Love these! They are smooth and comfortable and tight perfectly compressing but not constricting. I wish they came in different colors!

Not good: creasing, tourniquet effect, harsh material
Because of a postural tachycardia issue, I often wear these types of things.I generally use the (<ugh> more expensive) brand a doctor recommended—& in a size smaller (so, usually small, & I'm 5,6", 140 lbs)—& in 30-40 mmHg.But, I was going out of town, & at the last minute realized I needed another pair quickly. These [in Medium, lower compression] were the only pair I could get soon enough, so I thought, "Well if these aren't that compressive, I'll wash & dry them—maybe that'll help—but, regardless, it'll be better than having to wash my other pairs after I wear them & hope they air-dry in time to wear again, while I'm away at a hotel."Mistake. First of all, these are really stiff, not the least bit soft. As well, they're also oddly long (at least on me: I put the heel part right at my heel, just as we're supposed to do, but the open foot part more than covered my size 8.5 feet—and my legs [again, I'm quite normal in height: 5'6"]—my legs simply weren't long enough for these things. I didn't quite know what to do, as the grippy part at the top went up over my hips on the outsides of my legs (actually not a bad thing—gave some "shapewear" effect for my hips!) BUT the stockings just uncomfortably bunched up at my the tops of my inner thighs. So, the length, plus the not-very-pliable material kept causing those creases we're supposed to avoid, especially behind my knees—but elsewhere, also. And although I usually wear a small in a more-compressive rating, I found these mediums (in 20-30mmHg just as, if not more, compressive than my usual stockings, so for others who have a sizing issue, I do back you up.I wore these maybe an hour while I was in the hotel one morning, but simply had to take them off before leaving. They didn't feel right or okay, & I'd been warned to "avoid creasing."It's really a shame that the better brands are so expensive—& VERY possibly too expensive for many people who actually need these (& I, myself, wince when I have to buy another pair of the better ones). But, this more-reasonably priced pair, I just have to return or something.I really don't recommend. All that said, as the others are ridiculously close to $100 per pair, if your insurance doesn't cover stuff like this, & if you can't make room in your budget for those high-priced things, maybe you could try these in a size larger than you'd normally wear—& maybe wash them a couple times & use fabric softener? [don't put them in a dryer, though] and see if you can tolerate them better than I did? Just a thought. I hope you find what you need, as this postural tachycardia thing is really a drag.

Great for pots
These are amazing. I did size down 1 size Otherwise great. they are actually compression socks unlike others on here. They stay in place amazingly. Im 5,9 and they come all the way up my legs. I also have pots and they have helped reduce my symptoms alot. 100% recommend.

Inmediate relief
I just got the package and put them on, and let me tell you, what a relief! I'm pregnant and developed some varicose veins on my left thigh during the second trimester. I really needed something with strong compression, but due to my belly, I didn't want to use leggings. These hit the spot. They're tight enough to make my legs feel lighter and less painful (especially when standing up after being seated for a while) but they're not too tight, so I don't feel like they're cutting off circulation to my legs.Just be sure to measure your legs correctly to get the right size. I'm not fat and normally wear a size M for pants, but I ordered a Large, and they fit me perfectly. They're hard to put on, like any compression garment, but it didn't take me more than 3 minutes. The length is perfect too and the material is thick and seems resistant.I would buy another pair.Ps. Haven't washed them, so I can't comment on that for now.

Effective Compression with Potential Fit Issues: Thigh High Compression Socks
The Thigh High Compression Socks offer firm support with 20-30 mmHg gradient compression. Primarily designed for a range of conditions and activities, including running, edema, varicose veins, pregnancy, and nursing, these stockings perform well in terms of compression. As you would expect from a product offering 20-30 mmHg compression, these socks deliver satisfactory compression. This level of compression can assist in improving blood flow, reducing swelling, and offering relief from conditions like edema and varicose veins. However, potential buyers should be aware of potential fit issues, particularly if you have wider thighs. Despite following the provided size chart, I found that the stockings raised all the way under my butt cheeks, causing discomfort. With wider thighs, it felt as though the stockings were cutting off blood flow rather than promoting it. It seems this product might be better suited for individuals with thinner thighs. As such, while the Thigh High Compression Socks deliver on their promised compression level, the sizing could be a concern for some. Make sure to consider your personal measurements and comfort when considering this product. Due to the fit issues, I would rate these socks 3 out of 5 stars.
