This mount is awesome, pretty light weight, adjustable for length and you can tilt the bar back so the mount is at a slant which is exactly what we needed! Good cost and it came fast!

Good value, we did secure the projector using a zip tie for peace of mind.

I ordered a different one
The design makes it "feel" like your $1000 projector is going to fall on the floor. I tried to make stronger without success. I spent a few dollars more to get a solid mount that screws directly into the studs.I can now watch a movie and not wonder if the projector is going to drop on my head.

This will NOT work on a sloped ceiling
The tray cannot be installed turned 90 degrees from the top mount.For the support arm to hang straight down the top base needs turned 90 degrees but then turns the tray too and no longer faces the screen. if the tray faces the screen then the support arm is perpendicular to the ceiling and the tray is then parallel with the sloped ceiling. Poor design. Also the base isn't tapped with threads and these tiny tin nuts are used with maybe M4 bolts
