I had some wine bottles that I wanted to turn into bedside lamps, having read the description of this item I thought they would be perfect for what I wanted.They arrived the next day through prime and were well packaged.When I came to try and fit them they wouldn’t fit into the wine bottle, in fact I couldn’t find a bottle in the house that they would fit in to! Perhaps the bottles of wine/spirits I have aren’t big enough!I thought about returning them but instead decided to modify them myself instead so they would bit. To do this I basically used pliers to snap of the hard plastic wings and them used a Stanley knife to shave them and smooth them.If the plastic wings had been made of a softer plastic then perhaps they would have been easier to push into the bottle.Once removed I was then able to fit them into the bottles with ease and have managed to achieve the desired results.

Bottle top light bulb kit

Great product but beware of bottle neck size this is for large openings and the lead is outside the bottle as no way that I could see to take the top off to thread through the bottle when a hole is drilled in it.

Good quality product that accepts E27 bulbs (screw in). Quite sure I will be buying more.

Tried various sizes of bottles but cannot get them to fit. The plastic is too hard to push into the bottle. Disappointed asi cannot use.
