Depends on the kid - mine didn't like it
This is a quality toy. It is hard underneath the fur. It's not meant to be a cuddly toy! But it will hold up to a fair amount of abuse. For a 2 year old it can be a bit heavy if you're trying to move it up and down in the air. Once you press the button on the belt, Grover will go through a series of preset phrases ("look out everybody!" "going up, going down"- stuff like that). It's not too annoying or loud for an active play toy. When you move him up and down in the air the arms will move up and down in sync with the motion - so that when Grover's right side is up, his right arm will move up too as if he's flying. And the helmet moves manually up and down. That's it - that's the toy! For a child with a great imagination and a love of Sesame Street & Grover this toy could be a huge hit. For my son, it was not. Sits in a corner of his room. I think he's played with it twice.

My wife is a huge Super Grover fan from when she was little...
I bought this item for my wife for Christmas. I know, sounds funny to do...LOL. However, in my defense my wife quotes Super Grover all the time and thinks he is so hilarious. We have 4 children in our house and I will admit that they tend to sneak Super Grover off of her dresser and play with him a lot more then she does, but she thought it was very cool to have her own Super Grover. This is a very sturdy figure and it has many lines it says too. It is motion sensitive too (i.e. if he is standing and you pick him up it sounds like he is taking off...then when you move him up and down he says "going up" "going down" while you move it...very cool). I was very happy with this product for both my wife and my kids, great price on Amazon compared to stores and fast shipping!

Great detail
My son takes it every where. Feels high quality and has good details. Fell a thousand times and still looks good. Mine came in excellent condition. I took the battery out its kind of loud. Thanks

Oh my gosh - so cute I want to keep him!
Grover was purchased for my grandson, but I think he will stay with me! This is the cutest toy I have seen in a long time. The voice sounds exactly like Grover and when you hold him in the air and fly him up and down the "wind" sound actually speeds up and slows down and he knows if you are facing him up or down. Very well made, affordable toy. I am very please with all of the Sesame Street toys so far, especially with the cost, and the fact that the talking ones are so true to the character voices on the TV show.

Action-Packed Grover won't disappoint
Flying Super Grover was a big hit Christmas morning. Both of the grandsons (3 and 5) had instant fun with Grover ... but as the "owner" ... the 3 year old didn't want to let go. A test button allowed me to check it out before wrapping it. It's rigid plastic, which is good because it should last and a small safety concern if Grover conks one of the kids while playing. A good buy and fun for the money. This big Grover and the Super Grover Beanbag 7" Plush by Gund were given at the same time. The best of both worlds!

One of our 15 month olds first words was Grover
Our baby boy loves Grover... and stops in his tracks whenever Super Grover comes on the TV. We got this for him for Christmas and he likes it a lot. He's only 15 months old so there isn;t much he can do with it, but he pushes the button, listens to Grover talk and smiles widely. I'll use it and act out little things and he cracks up. If your child loves Grover I can't see how they wouldn't get a kick out of this.

Great for Grandson who loves any Super Hero
My almost 3 year old grandson loves any Super Hero, and immediately identified Grover. He loved the cape, of course. He enjoyed that Grover talks and makes flying sounds; however, the amount of text is limited. So, you may get tired of hearing the same lines over and over. Noticed that Grover identifying himself as "2.0" was more of an advertisement; not necessary. Perfect size, not too heavy for imaginative play. Requires 2 AA batteries, but it appears to be well built. The only drawback is that animated Grover scares his little brother. :(

If you love Grover, You have to have this toy!
Super Grover is Super Fun! Adults as well as children will love playing with him! We have him out on our family room shelf, and everyone plays with him. Well worth the money. His voice is clear, he sings a fun song, and his phrases are entertaining. A great toy for all ages!
