Femaprin Vitex Extract 60 Capsules

Please beware. I know the heartache of desperately wanting to concieve and you would do ANYTHING. But please please please, while this may be a miracle product for some ladies, it did the absolute opposite for me. I had pretty regular cycles, but my acupuncturist recommended I start taking this. For the first month it seemed like my PMS symptoms improved and I thought it may be working. She put me on it to 'regulate' my cycle and lengthen my lutheal phase. Anyway by month 2 I started to feel really down and just thought this was because the strain of trying to concieve was taking it's toll. I started to put on weight and again blamed everything else, but this. I took this for nearly 5 months and by this point I was verging on depression I believe and was generally so miserable crying all the time which is so unlike me. I also had cycles that were generally 26-28 days before I took this. My cycle one month dropped to 24 days. The final straw came when I had a cycle that was 33 days long....I was convinced I was pregnant but it turned out this 'herb' had completely messed with my system. I was devastated. So I immediately stopped taking it. I was nervous and my accupuncturist told me it would take 3 months to leave my system.We have been trying for a baby for a few years after a couple of losses. It was heartbreaking. I came off this herb and felt so helpless and had pretty much resigned myself to IVF later this year. However, my mood lifted immediately, I felt so much more positive, went on a 'cleanse', started exercising again (yoga and occassional running - not far mind), and believe it or not within a month, I find out I am pregnant - very early, but it happened. Just be very careful before taking anything. All I saw was good reviews for this product but it seems to be mainly for PCOS sufferers. Just do your research and don't always trust what you're told.

Must say I have been pleasantly surprised so far!! The reason for 4 stars is that I have only been taking for 3 weeks but have already noticed a change in my mood swings.Two weeks before my period is due I am an absolute nightmare with nasty mood swings, water retention, over eating etc... But since trying these tablets I have to admit I have seen a great change so far, my moods have changed considerably and I am no longer eating like a pig in the two weeks before my period, I normally have a 5 week cycle and started taking these 3 weeks ago and have just started menstruating so I was dreading having the 2 weeks of pure hell but not this month!!! I have still had a little whinge but nothing that caused any upset or arguments that would normally occur in this 2 week period, my eating habits haven't changed at all and I haven't even bothered so much with chocolate which I would normally eat everyday in them 2 weeks, my clothes would normally feel really tight and uncomfortable in the build up to my period but not now!!! I have even been asked if I have lost weight so I recommended these tablets to a friend who suffers just like me with bad water retention towards the coming of her period. I will defiantly be using this supplement from now on as my body does not agree with the pill and this is a healthy natural ingredients that have worked wonders for me....Hope this helps!!!

This supplement hasn't been beneficial for me. I was taking it for 4 months to give it enough time to work. I was hoping it would regulate my cycles and maybe improve my skin around that time of the month. It had no effect on me whatsoever.I haven't experienced any side effects.
