Not what it seems
I was looking to fill in some gaps in my chisel collection (I am a carpenter). So was pleasantly surprised to find what looked to be the same type of chisel for sale on Amazon. Sadly it was not to be. The chisel pictured is not what you get. The one in the picture (like mine) is the Marples m333 chisel, which was made in Sheffield from high quality steel. What you actually get (the Irwin branded M444) is made in Asia from a poorer quality steel. Having owned my chisels for over 20 years remembering exactly what series they were was out of the question, so I should maybe have checked the codes out first I suppose. You do, however tend to assume that the description is actually of the pictured item though. I have since returned the chisel for a re-fund.

Not was in picture received a totally different Chesil to the one advertised.
