Great product. I wish it were longer

This makes long ripping cuts easy. I do not own a table saw. I find I get very precise cuts using this tool.

I'm too embarrassed to ask for my money back. There are easier ways to to make a fence guide out of wood. Check it out on the Internet

Great accessory, particularly well suited for cutting plywood ancc so other sheet products. This one is a bit more substantial than the ones I have for other handheld saw. At times it’s easier to cut with this rather than handling a 4x8 sheet at a table saw, unless you have a heavy contractor saw.

when I purchased the my left hand sidewinder. I knew that it didn't come with any accessories at the price point I got it for. I thought surely one of the three I already have will work on the saw. Nope. This rip guide is thick heavier and stronger than any other that I own. While that was kind of a bummer. This rip guide is fantastic. I am very pleased with one exception. As you can see in the photo. there is supposed to be a spring. My did not arrive with one. The guide works without the spring, I just don't like feeling like I got shorted.

Nice sturdy unit, but it is much larger than the (approximately) 3/8" bar size required for the Skil 5080-01 saw. The screw is also much larger than the required screw for this particular saw.

Seems sturdy enough not to bend. Comes with a screw and spring. Good length.

Unlike the thin metal Rip Fence and Edge Guides that often come with circular saws, this item is tough and strong, well engineered and large enough to guide the heaviest saw. Once you tighten the screw that fastens this to the saw's base plate, you can rest assured it will not move or get distorted as you move the same along the cut line. I was skeptical that a saw guide could be this reliable and dependable but this unit is made with the proper dimensions to prevent it from drifting or distorting once you tighten it down firmly with a pliers.

Skil really crapped the bed on this one, superior electric isn't helping the situation much either.a brand new makita circular saw (any size) comes with a rip fence (no charge) that is interchangeable with rip fences from 35 year old makita circular saws.skil doesn't even offer a rip fence for their saws, (though they cast the receiver into the base plate) so when I pay the ridiculous price of $33.00 for an aftermarket fence and it comes with the wrong size locking screw... not impressed.even less impressed that I assumed they would sent the right parts and threw away the packaging before trying the new fence. wrong size screw for both skill 377 and skil sawsquatch.
