Good spotting scope
This is a good spotting scope for the price. I havn't really tried it out on long distance but you can't expect it to be as good as those costing many hundreds even thousands of pounds. The quality is very good and very portable. I think this type of scope is ok for looking a stationary targets. I tried with out success to catch a moving aircraft and bird as it went by.

Cheap, compact and powerful, but not for everyone
Reviewing optics is difficult because it depends on what levels of clarity, sharpness, contrast, colour, magnification, lack of aberration, etc. are acceptable for the intended purpose. Simultaneous perfection in all of these comes at an exceptionally high price, so, for most of us, compromises have to be made. I live in a rural area of Poland where deer, foxes, storks, hawks, etc. are commonplace and observing these is my main reason for using a telescope. I can't comment on the suitability of a spotting scope for astronomy, archery, the rifle range or digiscoping. My main scope is an Acuter NatureClose refractor with an 80mm objective. This could be described as a top-end budget spotting scope ( £170 or thereabouts) and would probably satisfy most casual users. I will compare this with the Visionking 70mm Maksutov Cassegrain to give you some idea of the latter's capability. The Visionking is compact, lightweight and could be fitted into a rucksack; the Acuter is bigger, heavier and harder to transport. Both spotting scopes are able to form sharp images up to the limits of their respective magnifications. However the colours in the VisionKing are a bit washed-out and certainly not as vivid as in the Acuter. Image distortion, chromatic abberation etc. in both scopes is minimal and won't bother most people. The image in the VisionKing is slightly misty at all magnifications, and it seems like you are looking at the image through slightly dirty glass (yes, I did clean the external lens surfaces). Maybe this is just a feature of my scope, but if a general feature could annoy some people. The VisionKing is of solid construction and cheap, though beware that it ships from China and, in my case, the Polish Customs charged the equivalent of £23 in VAT and duty.If you want a small, lightweight powerful scope for observing fine structural detail at great distances you'll be getting great value for money. If you need good colour, good contrast and a clean (non-misty) image (e.g. nature observation) go for a good budget conventional (refractor) spotting scope. The supplied tripod is perfectly adequate for table-top use.

Brilliant scope for smaller budgets
Delivery from China was beyond belief. Expected 16th April which, under the circumstances, didn't seem too bad. It actually arrived on 11th March!!Packaging was excellent and protected the scope well. The scope feels solid which makes it a little heavier than I expected. In use: at 25x the image is bright and sharp with very good colour definition. As one would expect, the higher the magnification, the less clear is definition all round. However fall-off is slow and remains very acceptable up to around 60x. Beyond that there is fuzziness which would cloud positive identification of a bird. All told, for the price this scope is excellently built and feels very soldid and it's performance for my purposes is great. I would recommend this optic to anyone who does not, like me, have a large budget.

Excellent, highly recommended
Wonderful spotting scope for shooting and/or wildlife watching. I expected a reasonable quality but was surprised just how good it was. When focused at 20m, you can see a 3” circle fill the scope’s viewer so, if looking at a bird, you can see the sparkle in it’s eye.Focused on infinity, you still get a terrific image, however, you do need a steady tripod. Most impressed and would rate this as: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Pretty dang good for the price
I was surprised at how useful the included tripod is. I expect it to be flimsy but it's all metal and not too bad. Very usable. Not as good as a professional scope and tripod but excellent quality for the price. The full 75x is a little dark and slightly blurry but I can still use it. The rest of the magnifications are plenty clear
