Too Big!?
These were bought for toothbrush adaptors but are too big! These are the same size as normal household electrical fuses which are too large for my adaptors & therefore unsuitable for my purposes & remain untested.They arrived very quickly though & hopefully will be returned to amazon equally as quickly!

Good for the price
Delivered on time and should do the job. Price is reasonable and delivered within the time specified.

All worked, none were duds and fit UK standard mains plugs.
I was dubious that these may be fakes or duds. However ordered 10, received 11. I tested all with continuity meter and all passed. I then used one in equipment I knew to be below the 1Amp rating (approx 200 watts), equipment worked. I then sacrificed one in equipment I knew to be above 1 amp rating (900 watt vacume cleaner) and fuse blew immediately. My conclusion: none were duds, and the one I tested worked as expected. One last thing these definitely fit UK mains standard plugs.

Fits standard UK three point plug | Using for LED worktop lights in kitchen
I have some LED worktop lights in my kitchen. These lights are powered via a fused spur.The LED lights are 12 watts x three units = 36 watts in total.A standard 3amp fuse wouldn't blow unless the power exceeded 690 watts (3 amps x 230 volts = 690 watts).These 1amp fuses will blow if the power exceeds 230 watts (1 amp x 230 volts = 230 watts).That is still a bit high considering how low the LED lights' actual power requirements are, but it is considerably better than a 3 amp fuse and provides extra peace of mind.I haven't completed as extensive tests as Nigel (he has posted an excellent review that including testing these fuses to ensure they operate to the stated specifications), but I haven't experienced any problems so far.
