I'm going to put these out only for special occasions.Very beautiful to look at and have a warm glow to them.The filaments are very fine and they are a great valueI don't know how long they will last and I will not ding them a star as for me they are like art.Very well packaged as well.

Buying vintage looking Edison bulbs isn’t as easy as you would think. If you go to a home improvement store you will find them for anywhere between eight and twenty bucks per bulb, but of course you have the advantage of seeing exactly what they look like. Go online and you will find hundreds of different styles all from brands you never heard of. You run the risk of them arriving broken, burnt out or not looking anything like what you want. And let’s face it, the way the bulb looks is important because you use these in fixtures where the bulb is exposed, not hidden under a lampshade.I had a specific look in mind for my new bathroom fixture. I wanted bulbs with the filament in the shape of a large coil, but that’s not how most of them here look, most have a filament that extends from the base to the top of the bulb in the shape of a tower or slender pyramid so when the bulb is lit all you see is a bright rod of light, not a delicate coil of glowing filament.To complicate it even more most of the bulbs are 60 watts, which is much too bright to radiate the soft romantic warm yellow glow vintage bulbs are famous for. And a lot of them have gone LED which look even less authentic.After searching pages and pages I found these and at a reasonable price of three bucks a bulb. They feature a filament that looks delicate and are only 40 watts each. They have a slightly amber tinted glass enclosure, but not too tinted like some I’ve seen. And the glass is fully wrapped in bubble wrap to ensure it gets to you in perfect condition.I like that this company is serious about taking care of their customers and will go out of their way to take care of any problems, which can easily occur when you buy light bulbs through mail order.The ultimate test is what they look like in real life, and to me once I installed them in my new bathroom fixture all I can say is that I love them.

These light bulbs are exactly what I was looking for. We got a new fixture for our dining room and wanted some vintage looking Edison bulbs that gave off warm light without the insane amount of heat that some competitor products provide. These bulbs are great - they provide warm light but not radiate a ton of heat. They are also not overly bright, which is perfect since our fixture holds so many bulbs.

Beautiful bulbs that give a lovely amber glow and bright enough for me. The quality is superb and arrived well packaged and none broken.

I love the warmth it adds to our baby room. Only disappointment was that upon opening the package, one of the bulbs was broken.

We have six (6) of these in the family room of our historic home and they are delightful. The filament is only visible with the 40 watt bulbs, so if you need brightness, you will need several bulbs. We tried the more practical 60 watt but you lose that effect. Just mildly disappointed that one (1) of the bulbs burned out within 2 days of installation.

I put one of these bulbs in a floor lamp that has a glass shade and it looks so nice. The light it emits is soft but you can read by it. Highly recommend!

I've had them for about a month and they look fantastic and provide a nice warm light in my hallways and stairwell. I will absolutely buy more when I need them.
