Original Soviet Russian GP5 GAS MASK with Filter, Bag and Anti-Fog Lenses in Grey, Black (3 (Large), Grey)

All the kit arrived in a cardboard box. Mask was the listed size and fitted me perfectly! Mine was from 1978 and had some of its paperwork inside the fog-proof lenses tin. The glass lenses themselves were fine but the anti-fog film had unfortunately yellowed and curled from age which is understandable.Important Tip: If you plan on buying and wearing one of these DO NOT USE THE ORIGINAL FILTER!!!Soviet era filter canisters are known to contain small amounts of white asbestos. The age of the canisters themselves can make them very risky to use as the contents can and most likely will have degraded.For your own safety buy modern FP-5 filters which are made by the Polish. They dont contain any asbestos and are much safer to use. They use GOST threading so they are compatible with the majority of Russian masks.If you plan on using the mask for airsoft consider buying aftermarket polycarbonate lenses to replace the thick yet fragile lenses the mask comes with by default.

Perfect, if you measure according to the guide the size is correct. Good quality and lasted well. Bin canister and soak the mask in warm water for half an hour before you use it to remove all the dust.

A bit smaller than the sizing chart suggests so not v wearable. V reasonably priced and well made.

Really can't argue with what you get on here. Good quality mask, filter strength good and handy pouch to keep it all in.Haven't had chance to test it out in an active environment yet, but from what I've examined I'm certain it will be adequate. I'll order from here again!

The mask I received was in good condition and after a wipe down it was perfect, only 4 stars because the filter included is not suitable to use due to possibility of asbestos and I think this should be mentioned in listing.

Large size fits perfectly on my head. Instructions came in Russian, but it is very simple to work out what you need to do. Very good
