Candy Shop, The Mass Market Paperback – 11 Feb. 2010

Kiki always pen's her books at a very basic level! People are described like celebrites and real in sight in to the person is never given. Although I finished I would not recommend it nor am i happy I purchased it in the first place. But you do want to know how it ends once you start. And if you don't mind reading the slow demise of someone's life this is for you.

this was a gd book i would recommend ppl to read it i finished it in record time lool but the end could of been a little better other then that its a gooden

The book was ok. I would of liked to get a little bit of background info about why Faith's marriage was already shaky. I would of also liked to have her husband's point of view on the issue to see how he went through the motions with everything. Faith was weak and gulliable! How do you let your homegirl/bestfriend convince you to do some hard drugs? Where's the will power? But that just goes to show you that when you start using drugs everything that you ever accomplished goes right out the window! The only thing that matters is scoring your next hit. After all the things that Faith goes through, I really thought she was going to get it together! I guess I'll see when I order part two "Still Candy Shopping"

I can honestly say that I have read better books by Kiki Swinson. The grammar was not correct. There were parts that were not adding up at all. For instance, when Teresa left to go to Grandy Park in Faith’s car and had not returned, how did Faith manage to drive to her in-laws for gas money??? The chapter indeed did not speak on her return at all.

Good book

I liked the way the story line kept me surprised from start to finish. The title will throw you off but as I got deeper into it, I then found out what the title was talking about.

This book is actually about reality. These things baron a daily basis. Hopefully, the next chapter her life gets better

The Candy ShopI have read alot of Kiki's books. I think she is a great author. This book shows her versaility. I wish she would write a sequel. I agree with Kiki. We read books about drug dealers, money, jewelry and fancy cars. This book displays the adverse of drugs, addiction, prostitution and broken homes. The Candy Shop

I gave it a three because it wasnt an amazing book to be honest. I diddnt feel any connection to the characters and theres wasnt anything juicy. It got boring right away sadly. I was really excited for this book

Love nice and small not bulky

WATCH YOUR INNER CIRCLE, IT MAY BRING YOU DOWN OR IT MAY LIFT YOU UP. IN THE CASE OF THIS BOOK, IT BROUGHT HER ALL THE WAY DOWN. I FELT SORRY FOR HER FAMILY AND WISHED SHE WOULD HAVE WISED UP. VERY INTERESTING READ, DIFFERENT FROM OTHER STREET LIT.

This was a good read. It was sad and it shows how one choice in the wrong direction can change your life forever. I couldn't bring myself to purchase part 2.

This was good, I was very surprised how fast everything went down hill for faith. I don't understand why she would even go down that path.

Another book purchased for my sister recuperating from cancer. She has read this book and many other Swinson books in a matter of days.

I am an addict myself and been struggling for four . years myself and boy of boy did she have it on the nail.however there some parts I don't see as true however I'd say 99 percent is true. she did an awesome job with getting the ugly facts of addiction. I wonder if she had one of her own as in the author..or she had to be closely effected by the way someone who has or had been addict for a while.

The book I got is not complete, it only go up to page 183 so I want a refund or another one sent out. Thanks
