QUALITY
I HAVE RECENTLY MADE SEVERAL TANKS MADE BY VARIOUS MANUFACTURERS. ON OPENING THE TAMIYA BOX IT WAS APPARANT IMMEDIADELY THAT THE PLASTIC INJECTION ITEMS WERE CRISPER, MORE DETAILED AND CLEARLY BETTER QUALITY THAN OTHER WELL KNOW MAKES. ALSO EVERYTHING THAT IS SUPPOSED TO FIT, DOES FIT PRECISELY. THE ENGINEERING IS SUPERB. ALSO, THE COST WAS TWO THIRDS OF THAT OF EQUIVALENT PRODUCTS. THIS MAY BE BECAUSE IT DOESN'T COME WITH GLUE OR PAINTS.

industry standard
Tamiya for many years have been the industry standard and they stoll.amaze me with there attention to detail, there not the cheapest but not the most expensive either. They consistently surpass my expectations. The level of detail is such that you can make the model as detailed as your imagination can imagine. If you can think of a particular aircraft or vehicle tamiya will make it.

Perfection
This was a superb model to make - the fit, engineering and level of detail were perfect.There was nothing dificult or too fidley and it was a very rewarding model to make. Some people don't like the rubber band tracks but I think that it's ok when, like this model, the sag of the tracks are hidden by the armoured skirts.The only problem I had was applying the decals - there are some very highly raised surfaces that made applying the decals difficult. Although I made use of decal softner, with hindsight I would have made some cuts in them before soaking to try and help negotiate the lumps and bumps

typical Tamyia
A typical Tamiya product goes together with very little to no trimming at all, very happy and lots of add ons what you see on the box is what you get, for a change. Would recommend.
