Amodex Ink Stain Remover, White

It took an hour of dogged dripping and dabbing, but this removed a heavy black blob of dried ink from a coloured polyester skirt without leaving the slightest trace, or any discolouration of the fabric. For gentle brushing (as advised in the instructions), I used an old electric toothbrush head -- on the electric toothbrush.

Doesn’t remove ink stains

Absolutely amazing product! I got gel ink stains on my trousers from washing them with pens on accident and its been months since I done anything about it because I seen people use alcohol which made it worst and I didn't want to risk it, however I got this stain remover and it works like a charm. I seen the bad reviews and honesty I think they must be using the product wrong because this is like magic (see pictures below). Mind you I also had these go in the dryer etc and it still after months managed to get most of the gel ink out, I will say if u look very very close you'll see a wee bit of it but honestly it's not bad and if you do it mutiple times unlike me who used it just once on my trousers it'll likely disappear all together. Very pleased because they discontinued making these trousers so I thought I could never wear them outside again. THANK YOU WHOEVER MADE THIS! (The picture after the stain remover still looks like it has white spots because it's before I put it in the washing machine once you was it those go away)

Although I had high hopes that this might remove ink stains on a fave shirt it only really changed it from noticeable to hardly noticeable! But the stains are still there! It claims to work on 'stubborn' and 'pre-treated' stains. I'd tried previous treatment within 24 hours of the stain, which reduced it a bit. I'd hoped this might remove it completely as it says you can use it even after a few days have passed! But again it only reduced the stain after following leaflet guidance. The ink stains are supposed to blot out on to a piece of paper towel under the garment. But there was no ink on the towel after treatment attempt! It also claims to work if you persevere and leave stains overnight or for few days!

I’ve never written a review but I will this time. IT WORKS. it saved an item covered in dye that I had no hopes for!!!! 1000000% works! Brilliant!

This stain remover made no impact whatsoever on a black ink stain on a white cotton skirt. I followed the instructions precisely and none of the mark was removed at all - so a complete waste of time and money and I am now going to chuck the skirt out as unsalvageable. It might be that if you used this product immediately, it might work better. In my case, the skirt had already been washed (I didn't spot the mark until after it had been laundered in the usual way) which, I guess, may have 'set' the mark into the fabric - and I had already tried (also entirely unsuccessfully) to remove the ink using a couple of different stain devil products (one supposedly specially designed for ink, the other a more general stain remover) - both of which promised great things but also delivered zero.
