Good tool but could use a stronger/ more robust string
I recently tried out the Crystals Telescopic Tree Ratchet Anvil Lopper for my gardening needs, and while it has some redeeming qualities, it falls short in a few key areas.Starting with the positives, the telescopic feature is undoubtedly handy. The adjustable handles make it easier to reach high branches without the need for a ladder. The build quality seems decent, and the materials used appear durable, giving a sense that this tool can handle some rugged use. However, the ratchet mechanism, which is supposed to make cutting through thicker branches a breeze, left me wanting. It often felt clunky and didn't provide the smooth, effortless operation I was expecting. While it did eventually get the job done, the process was more cumbersome than it needed to be.The anvil design, while touted for its ability to handle dead or tough wood, left me with mixed results. It worked well on some branches, but on others, it seemed to struggle, requiring more effort on my part than I anticipated. The blade also seemed to dull quicker than expected, leading to a less precise cut over time. The telescopic handles, while convenient, did introduce a bit of wobbliness when fully extended. This compromised the overall stability of the tool, making it feel less secure during use. It's worth noting that the locking mechanism on the telescopic feature wasn't as robust as I would have liked, occasionally slipping during use.The grip on the handles is a bit underwhelming. While it does provide some comfort, it lacks the ergonomic design found in higher-end loppers, making prolonged use less comfortable. In conclusion, the Crystals Telescopic Tree Ratchet Anvil Lopper is a passable choice for occasional gardeners who don't mind putting in a bit of extra effort for their pruning tasks. While it has some practical features, the overall execution leaves room for improvement. If you're serious about your gardening tools, you might want to explore other options in the market for a more seamless and efficient experience.

Great quality
Arrived very quickly, easy to put together and both the saw and cutters work very well. It does exactly what it says and we have used 3 times on bushes/trees up to 2.5m high with good results. Pleased I bought it and very well made for the price. Better than I expected.

Surprisingly good
For the price I was expecting nothing spectacular, however I was surprised to see it’s not too bad, the cutter handles quite chunky branches although the rope handle needs some improvement , the saw is decent enough once you get it at the correct angle, the locking mechanism is a bit naff and one of the plastics has split , if it lasts long enough to finish the job I’ll be happy

Good lopper, terrible saw
I didn't expect much from this for the low price but was pleasantly surprised. When fully extended you've got good reach and thanks to the string pulley system to close the lopper head, quite a bit of leverage to get through those more stubborn twigs and branches. The only real issue is the saw blade. The bolts to hold it in place quickly come undone when sawing causing the blade to rattle and catch. But beyond that, it's not too much an issue for something that performs well regardless.

Broken on first use
A great product in theory though in practice sheared in two at the join so useless after the first go. When used for the first 5 mins it worked really well and could presume it was going to be a great piece of kit but unfortunately 5 mins later was not. Asked seller to either send a new pole (the top half still worked well) or full refund and they suggested a 15% refund and I keep the item. Needless to say it’s going back for full refund and I’ll buy something a bit more expensive and hope for the best. Disappointing.
