ROCCAT Leadr Wireless 12000 dpi Owl-Eye Optical Sensor Multi-Button RGB Gaming Mouse, Black

So my shiny new Roccat Leadr arrived this morning and as soon as my grubby little hands could finish unpacking it I went about hooking it up and installing drivers, after all I had an appointment with Mass Effect: Andromeda and I wouldn't want to be late.Setup was a bit of a mixed bag, physically connecting the docking station was just a case of plugging in the USB cable so no problems there however installing the Swarm software was a pain in the proverbial. I ended up having to reinstall it to get it working, and then the first thing it did was update itself. Considering I had only downloaded it five minutes before from the Roccat website I would have thought it would have ben the most current version but maybe that's just me. The second thing it did was flash the hardware, which again I didn't really expect, after all the mouse was only released two days ago.Once I finally got the setup completed though configuring the mouse for my preferences was a doddle as was setting up different profiles with most of the features on the configuration software being pretty self explanatory. There are a couple more niggles to come though and again its the software that's causing them. The Swarm connect feature doesn't seem to exist, when you go to its tab it tells you that you have to download it using auto update, which by itself begs the question Why? After all if you've put the tab for it right there in the software already why make it a separate update? Only when you go to auto update there is no way to install Swarm connect and Roccats website offers no help on this at all. In fact a quick search reveals that may others have problems with the same issue.So software problems aside what's the mouse like to actually use? It is slightly heavier than some mice I've used before but feels extremely comfortable to hold and moving it around feels slick and quick. As I said before setting up your preferences is relatively easy (once you manage to install Swarm) so adjusting the dpi to whatever you find works best is fairly straight forward, plus you can configure a button to lower the dpi (from a selection of choices) for tasks like sniping where you might want slightly finer control. I've been using it for around 8 hours now with a couple of breaks and although I haven't yet returned it to the charging dock the charge has only just dropped below 75% (that's assuming each of the four charge light son the dock does stand for 25% of full charge). If that performance continues I'll be more than happy with it.The scroll wheel feels solid and the feed back when you use it is satisfying, though the extra four buttons on the top of the mouse feel a little plastic they do respond nicely as well as do the side buttons and flippers.Overall an excellent mouse and so far I'm extremely pleased with it, but Roccat really does need to do something about Swarm, it doesn't detract from actually using the mouse, but if you're going to put features into your software make sure people can actually use them.

Incredible mouse, i like the top buttons as I assign them to q and e and side buttons usually f and c or x but anyway feels amazing, really easy to edit buttons config o my downside is perhaps say is when the battery goes down by 2 bars (half life) I can feel slight delay... otherwise itd perfect and never find any delay at all and I think this is due to how well the left n right click have been made, all sensitive. You won't be disappointed

Loved the Tyon. I just cant get used to other mice with less buttons and once you start using the side axis paddles you'll miss them immensely when they're not there.The only reason for not giving this 5* is I found there was too much interference with the wireless at anything more than about a metre away. I'm a sofa gamer so my PC is about 2.5 metres from where I sit. I wasnt expecting it to reach that far.. but a bit more than 1m.Other than that. Software is now good. Mouse is solid and options (especially with easy shift) are endless.

Has everything that is advertised and has amazing battery life.For those that use Linux, there is no driver for it, not even an open source one. So I just used a virtual machine running windows to set macros and such

Pros:Decent buttons layout. Not the greatest placement of the default "Shift" button, not the most confortable to keep it pressed in various conditions, but it's ok'ish.Decent shape and size. Lacks confort grooves in the two primary buttons, but it's not something to make them unconfortable.Option to use it in wired mode without the charging base.Good build quality.Decent skatez, gliding nice on cloth pads.Decent battery life.Good Scroll-Wheel and Middle-Click.Decent software. Not the best, but definitely not lacking options.Cons:Biggest con of them all - It has NO ON-BOARD MEMORY for storing your profiles / macros !!! (unlike the Tyon) So no switching between PC's without having the SWARM Software installed. In fact, you can't even use macros / profiles without the SWARM Software constantly running in the background...Very slow charging.Not portable in wireless mode as you need to have the big charging base with you.Bit on the heavy weight side at around 128 grams iirc. Also not very well balanced, a bit heavy on the back.RGB lighting is very poorly implemented, color transitions are lacking any smoothness.

Love the ability to charge it on a stand or wire it in.Only downside is that it stays on while on the stand so I just switch it off.Only a very minor inconvenience

This mouse lacks the ability to store profiles onboard. The only way to redefine the keys is to leave its companion software running in the background which is total show stopper for me so this is going back. I wasted over an hour on this, very disappointing that such a basic feature is absent on an otherwise very interesting mouse.

Great mouse, good range, the Roccat software is probably the only non-appealing thing with the mouse. (As it is with all other gaming mice, looking at you Razer Synapse. ¬_¬)

Works Perfectly Again! I love my Roccat Leadr too much, so I got another one and this time using Razor Pads to prevent the wear and grip. In photos you can see what issue I had before, but to be fair I used it intensively for over 2 years. It is so nice having it working and feel the newness of it. I never had any issues with it other than software occasionally would crash. 9.2 out of 10 in my mind so I give it a 5 Star!

Also die Maus an sich ist sehr gut. Sowohl was die Präzision (kein Wunder bei 12000dpi) als auch die Gleiteigenschaften oder die Ergonomie/Haptik betrifft. Da hätte die Maus eigentlich 5 Sterne verdient.Die Software (Roccat Swarm genannt) dazu ist für mich, der bisher mit Logitech gearbeitet hat, gewöhnungsbedürftig. Nach einer Weile hat man sich aber weitgehend daran gewöhnt. Allerdings lassen sich scheinbar nicht alle Tasten der Maus frei belegen (oder ich habe die Software immer noch nicht völlig verstanden). Was mich aber richtig nervt, ist , dass wenn man in der Software eine neue Belegung wählt, es scheinbar 2-3 Sekunden dauert bis die dann übernommen wurde. Klickt man währenddessen etwas anderes an, kommt es irgendwie zu seltsamen Ergebnissen. Trotzdem ist das aber noch jammern auf hohem Niveau.Was aber ein NoGo (meiner Meinung nach) ist für eine Maus, die laut UVP 149,99 € kosten soll (Quelle: Roccat Homepage) ist zweierlei:1. Der Maus liegt nur ein USB-Kabel bei, das proprietär ist, weil der Stecker eine sehr spezielle Form hat. Man muss daher, wenn der Akku leer ist, das Kabel aus der Ladestation abziehen, was umständlich ist, da die Ladestation ja wahrscheinlich irgendwo hinter dem Rechner und unter dem Schreibtisch angeschlossen ist, auch wenn Sie auf dem Schreibtisch steht. Dann muss man das Kabel in die Maus stecken, was leicht geht. Will man die Maus dann wieder vom Kabel trennen, muss man leider ziemlich fest am Kabel (!) ziehen. Am Stecker ziehen kann man nicht, da der Stecker ziemlich in der Maus versenkt ist. Der sitzt dort aber ziemlich fest, so dass man entsprechend viel Kraft ausüben muss. Und ich wage mal die Vermutung, dass das das Kabel nicht lange schadlos überstehen wird. Da der Stecker sehr speziell geformt ist, dürfte Ersatz teuer und/oder schwierig werden.2. Und das kommt zu 1. erschwerend hinzu: Die Ladestation wird nur über das eine spezielle USB-Kabel angeschlossen, es ist keine zusätzliche Stromversorgung vorhanden. Das heißt, dass sobald man die Maus auf die Ladestation hängt und den Rechner runterfährt, die Maus nicht mehr geladen wird. Das wiederum bedeutet, dass Menschen wie ich, die den Rechner runterfahren und ausschalten, wenn sie ihn nicht benutzen, die Maus nur laden können, während der Rechner an ist und benutzt wird, dazu brauche ich aber natürlich die Maus und kann sie währenddessen nicht auf der Ladestation laden lassen, daher muss ich das einzige Kabel ständig zwischen Ladestation und Maus wechseln, was wohl nicht gut gehen wird (siehe 1.) und ist eigentlich auch nicht der Sinn bei einer kabellosen Maus.Abhilfe für beide Kritikpunkte könnte eine Rechner-unabhängige Stromversorgung der Ladestation bringen und ein zweites proprietäres USB-Kabel. Bei einer Maus für 149,99 € ist das kein Luxus, sondern gehört eigentlich dazu. Daher gibt es nur vier Sterne.Update:Nach dem ich die Mau jetzt 5 Monate benutzt habe (im Schnitt etwa 1 Stunde täglich) ändere ich meine Bewertung auf 5 Sterne, eigentlich eher 4,6-4,7 aber das geht ja nicht.Mein Hauptkritikpunkt hat sich als unbegründet erwiesen. Meine Sorge war ursprünglich, dass die Ladestation die Maus nur bei eingeschaltetem Rechner lädt, weil augenscheinlich alle Lichter an der Ladestation ausgehen, wenn der Rechner aus ist. Nach jetzt 5 Monaten hatte ich aber nie die Situation, dass der Akku der Maus leer war, obwohl ich es oft genug vergessen habe die Maus wieder auf die Ladestation zu hängen bzw. der Rechner längere Zeit aus war. Ich kann es mir nur so erklären, dass die Maus auch bei ausgeschaltetem Rechner geladen wird (Die Maus ist bei mir über einen USB-Hub mit eigener Stromversorgung angeschlossen), trotz fehlender Anzeige.

Después de muchos ratones probados para juegos y todo tipo de agarre del ratón. Este es el que mejor se adapta y está mejor diseñado con tantos botones, a los cuales puedes llegar fácilmente tengas el tipo de agarre que tengas.Personalmente tengo el grip mas complicado para encontrar un ratón, "fingertip grip", es un agarre con solo los dedos sin tocar con la palma de la mano y suelo levantar el ratón a casi cada movimiento (me gusta ir a baja sensibilidad para tener mas precisión). Paso a contaros los PROS:--A pesar de que este ratón es un poquito mas grande de lo que estoy acostumbrado para mi grip, me ha sorprendido el manejo preciso y rápido que puedo tener igual que con mi antiguo ratón mas pequeño, este ratón está en su medida justa para que valga a todo el mundo, manos medio/pequeñas y largas.--En esta versión han mejorado un poco el material de agarre para los laterales, sigue siendo plástico pero con un acabado que te da mejor agarre que con el roccat tyon.--Los drivers también han mejorado, ya que puedes tener varios perfiles ahora.--La base es un puntazo, te da información del estado de la batería y es muy fácil colocarlo. Respecto a los que ponen que es muy dificil quitar y poner el cable, es normal que las 3 o 4 primeras veces esté algo duro, pero en cuanto sabes como va y no haces el bruto, lo haces sin mirar tirando de la manera correcta.--El tema inalambrico es increible, responde igual que con cable, y eso no lo he podido decir nunca de ningún ratón inalambrico en mi vida.CONTRAS:--Realmente este ratón no tiene contras, y espero que solo me haya pasado a mi.El problema es un detalle de la rueda scroll... He pedido un reemplazo y esta segunda unidad le pasa lo mismo que a la primera, y es que al subir la rueda hace un ruido tipo carraca, no es exagerado ya que en realidad la rueda es de calidad, pero en cambio bajas la rueda y no hace nada de ruido, luego debería sonar igual al bajar pero no.. hace un ruidito mas de carraca. Una pena ese detalle, yo que soy de tener todo silencioso me ha dejado un poquito chof, pero si no os molesta los ruidos de la rueda pues no hay problema para vosotros.Si lo pillais a un precio asequible en torno a los 80 euros os lo recomiendo, por ese precio es lo mejor que vais a encontrar

Un seul regret : Amazon ne permet pas de mettre plus que 5 étoiles !!!Cette souris mériterait 10 étoiles !J'ai testé d'autres souris, en particulier la G903 de Logitech, supposée être dans le haut de gamme et ayant reçu de nombreux avis positifs. Si je compare la Leadr, elle est mieux en tout points :1) le logiciel swarm est intuitif ( j'ai lu des critiques que je ne comprends pas... Absolument tout est clair et les possibilités sont énormes, Swarm vous affiche même les paramètres souris de windows)2) les boutons : ils sont bien placés, il ne m'a fallu AUCUN temps d'adaptation ! J'ai pu paramétrer les boutons comme sur mon ancienne G700s, sans soucis.3) le design : question de goût personnel4) le temps de réponse des boutons !!!! La G903 présentait de la latence sur ses boutons latéraux ! Sur la Leadr, pas la moindre latence nulle part ( le bouton au niveau du pouce s'enfonce parfois un peu mal si on n'appuie pas assez fort, mais rien de grave )5) Le nombre de boutons : hallucinant : 14 boutons si je compte la molette. Et surtout, ils sont bien placés.6) l'optique parfaite : je peux même dessiner avec cette souris, tellement sa précision est grande ! La pièce jointe à cet avis est un dessin à main levée réalisé sur le Paint de Windows avec la souris Leadr : l'objectif est uniquement de tester la souris, pas de faire un chef d'oeuvre. Et comme vous pouvez le constater, la Leadr a réussi le test avec brio ! Bien mieux que toutes les anciennes souris que j'ai eues ! Aucune souris n'a jamais réussi ce test avec autant de précision : observez la régularité des lignes ! C'est bluffant. Et dans les jeux, j'ai ressenti tout de suite les bénéfices d'une telle précision.Seul point que je ne peux pas noter : la longévite .... J'ai des craintes à ce sujet car la batterie n'est pas amovible. Je prie pour que cette souris m'accompagne longtemps.

Mouse fantastico, molto solido e non perde un colpo. Molto preciso e affidabile, le dimensioni generose cosi come il peso rendono questo mouse adatto a chi ha mani grandi. Il software è mooooolto da sistemare perche pieno di bug e difetti ma sono certo verrà migliorato. Il prezzo è altimo ma giustificabile data la qualità. Il mouse non presenta grip in gomma come quasi tutto ma se comunque faccio la prova per vedere quanto è saldo non mi scivola manco se ci metto l’olio. I tasti sono reattivi e danno un ottimo feedback molti sono un po scomodi ma molti altri li trovo comodissimi. Illuminazione un po bassa rispetto alla concorrenza ma comunque buona
