Mimi's Tales of Terror (Junji Ito) Hardcover – October 24, 2023

Good horror, easy to breeze through, classic style. Overall, it was enjoyable and had me looking over my shoulder at all the small bumps in the night.

Creepy, campy fun from one of the masters of Japanese horror

When my niece put Junji Ito on her Christmas wish list, I was surprised to see how many options there were. While I haven’t read this myself, my niece said it’s great. Seems to be a good price compared to other places. If the content is interesting enough to get my niece to read something for fun, then it’s a winner!

Story is the same great manga as always but the copy i received had different cover art then is shown which was a bit werid but definitely still worth purchase

Bought as a gift, she loved it! Junji Ito is truly the master of Japanese manga horror!

This book is such an interesting collection of stories!!! I loved the full color pages at the very end of this manga story collection!!! Junji Ito has a brilliant way of imagining and illustrating the urban legends from "Shin Mimibukuro" ("New Earmuffs" in English), which he used to adapt into "Mimi's Tales of Horror"!!! I adore all stories by Junji Ito, and this was definitely worth adding to my bookcase! I was sucked into Mimi's world from page one!!!On a side note, the boom arrived to me in perfect condition!!! No bumps, scratches, or torn/folded pages 👍

I enjoyed this book a lot. Ito’s art is always something to look forward to but what I really loved was the mysterious element in each of these stories. Each one had me with more questions than answers. I loved it! Completely unrelated to the work itself, Amazon has GOT to do better with packaging books. Especially with hardcover books that have a dust jacket! Mine wasn’t in awful condition, but it definitely wasn’t pristine.

I love love love Junji ito books! This book wasn’t bad at all but i was disappointed for most of it and wasn’t excited reading it . It wasn’t creepy enough and nothing crazy went on.
