Baroque Art Gilders Paste - Tulip Red - 1 oz.

This product is amazing, I have used it on wood, black iron, metal, plastics.It is great for adding " Highlights " ( bronze-green-gold-red ) to items such as a touch of color to a black ironplant stand , picture frames, the possibilities are endless . A little goes a long way.

The tulip color guilders paste is a nice color, but very dry and even adding a little bit of paint thinner makes it runny.

Use this on everything from jewelry to wood. Easy to apply and buffs out perfectly. It can be used for more than just jewelry!

I have Gilders Paste in most of the colors - Tulip Red is good with one of the golds, with Pinotage, Black, Patina, Silver, etc. I like to blend colors so, for instance, I could possibly use some Copper, with Tulip Red, Pinotage and Iris Blue. If you have a number of colors you can try different combinations to make artwork that people will rave over. I usually allow the Gilders Paste to dry over night, or at least for about 4 hours before I buff the the metal, I may then add more colors or complete my artwork.

It took pliers to get the top off and the paste was as hard as a rock. I added paint thinner and could use it afterwards.

One item was old and starting to dry. The other was fresh and easier to use.

Was exactly what I needed. It's really easy to use and is what I needed for a nice looking product. Love the variety of colors available.

I have used Guilders paste before and love the product. It is perfect for my clay projects and produces great results.
