i like the dimmable function because it buzzes with versatility. i can easily adjust the brightness levels to match the vibe I want in my room. Whether I'm going for a cozy and intimate atmosphere or a bright and energetic ambiance, this floor lamp has got my back. It's all about setting the right mood, and this dimmable feature makes it a total game-changer. No more harsh lighting or straining my eyes. I can just twist that switch and find my sweet spot of illumination. It's like having a personal lighting DJ right in my living room!

This lamp is attractive and works great. However, the weight and pulley mechanism is just for decoration, not function. The weight is hollow so does not counterbalance the shade. You can make it still "work" but wrapping the wire all the way around the pulley (to hold it). The pulley does not really move... it could, but if it did then there would not be enough friction to hold the lampshade up without a counterweight. (I did try to open the counterweight. I thought I could fill it with sand to make it work properly, but no.) Overall, I am happy with this attractive, dimmable lamp that does go up and down if I stand and carefully adjust the cord. But, it is not offer smooth adjustment from the weight or shade.

Pretty design on the outside but this is a case of deceiving appearances. The lamp pully system doesn't work properly. We had to be reassembled and it is still defective. The weight doesn't hold the head of the lamp. The light flickers in the low level of brightness. Also, some of the parts were rusty. Fyi, rust spreads really fast. I am returning and do not recommend it.

I love this lamp it gives that steampunk but luxury vibe I was looking for. The amber bulbs are a must. Nice height and I like that it can go up and down for reading

Genuinely a beautiful lamp. It looks cool! Kind of rustic, but modern. It has very Crate & Barrel vibes without the price! It was actually very easy to assemble (took like 10 minutes) and the color is definitely a darker brass color. Very sturdy. I love it!

This lamp is gorgeous. Looks like it cost way more than what I paid. Seems pretty sturdy and was really easy to set up. Took 10 mins tops.

Good heavy duty floor lamp, matches the industrial look of the current home style. However, the only problem thus far was the cable on the "pully system was not properly put together - I had to take apart the pully system (the part that lowers and rises the light) and rewire the cable on top of the pulleys for the floor lamp to work properly.

Light slowly slips down. Weight wasn't enough counter. Slowly slips lower. Used a zip tie to lock the height I wanted
