This is a great snuffle mat for pumpkin purée, Greek yogurt, or other soft foods. My pup eats very quickly and this helps slow him down so he can digest his food. Also a good puzzle to keep his brain active. It’s also an easy clean up which I appreciate.

I didn't know silicone dog snuffle mats existed. This Moogrou Snuffle Mat was buried somewhere between pages 35-40 (out of 65 pages in a search for dog puzzle toys) on Amazon, which apparently never pays attention to any feedback that would make the website much more user-friendly.What I especially like about this silicone snuffle mat is that it is easy to clean. I bought one for each of my dogs, and they go into the dishwasher every day along with their food and water bowls.Traditional snuffle mats need to go into the washing machine. I don't do doggie laundry every day and I don't want my dogs getting food out of a dirty mat containing doggie saliva, old food crumbs, and bacteria.I hide a low calorie-treat under one of the petals of each of the 9 flowers in the snuffle mat for my dogs to find. It takes more effort on my part than just throwing a handful of treats or kibble onto the mat, but I need to be careful about how many calories my little dogs get from treats each day. If I use only a small number of treats each time, I can let them snuffle around their mats 4 or 5 times, which means more fun for them.For me, the suction cups on the bottom of the mats are not useful since I need to keep my dogs away from the mats until I put the treats on them. To do that, I would have to put my dogs in a separate room and close the door to keep them away from mats stuck to the floor.The fact that the Moogrou mat is made of silicone means it is floppy, so I set each of my mats on a small cutting board that I got from the dollar store. I don't need the mats to stick to the cutting boards. I just need to be able to carry two mats with dog treats over to my dogs and gently set the cutting boards on the floor or rug.

Keeps my dog busy for about 30 mins during her dinner time. The suction cups on the bottom make it easy for her to use without it sliding all over my hardwood floors. 10/10!

Just a little bit keeps her busy for 20-30 minutes. Suction cup bottom works great.I would NOT recommend for big or rough biters. The flaps tear relatively easily. Keep an eye on your pup

So glad I bought this for my Pomeranian. He eats mostly soft food, so I like to put kibble in here so he gets some crunch for his teeth. Always goes straight to work to snuffle out the goodies - always gets them all! A little entertainment for a little guy. Probably too small for big dogs? Maybe they make a bigger size? Great purchase. Lots of use - easy to clean.

Always looking for activities for my two pet house pigeons to do, and I've been looking for a foraging mat that suits them for a while.I set it on the carpet so I don't use the suction part, but I specifically got silicone so it'd be easy to clean -- the pidgies poop A LOT and with reckless abandon.They were afraid of it at first, but once they got used to it they love poking around for their treats. Safflower seed is their favorite and seems to be the perfect size. They clean it out quick! When they poop on it it's very easy to wipe down, and it is a good size to easily clean in the sink. I know birds aren't the intended audience but I recommend it if you're looking for a simple little foraging mat.

The media could not be loaded.  I had been researching snuffle mats and was worried about the fabric ones since some of them use cheap metal staples and I have seen photos of puppies being hurt by them. This one is great so far! Our puppy is a chewer and this has held up for 3 days so far. It wears him out mentally and physically as he searches. Definitely keep an eye on the pup while they use it because they could still rip one of the flaps off.
