This candle had the best smell! The wood wick doesn’t crackle, which is a bummer. But it smells so good I’ve bought it again.

This candle has a refreshing springtime scent and of course there’s the famous Woodwick crackle. Comes with a cap to extinguish the candle while trapping the smoke.

Sorry as I cannot describe this smell but I don’t really smell a lavender to it or the typical lavender smell. So far we prefer this candle to be in the bathroom. I always make sure to have the candle lit long enough to melt the whole top layer. If you don’t and just light it for half an hour or less, you’ll create tunneling and ruin the candle. I’ve seen some photos on Amazon of people not properly lighting the candles especially the ellipse shaped ones. They ruined the candles if there is tunneling. I also trim the wick after the candle has cooled down to ensure I remove most of the crispy wick to start off fresh next time.So this is not letting me leave a review for the different scents I ordered.Lavender and cypress smells pleasant and I just prefer keeping it to the bathroom.Cherry Blossom vanilla smells sweet and good. I cannot describe the smell well. I’ve never smelled actual cherry blossoms so I cannot say that is exactly what it smells like but it’s a great candle and I can see why it’s very popular.The tomato basil candle I just absolutely hate it. It makes me slightly nauseous. I keep it in the kitchen but for now am stuck with two of those candles. I cannot stand the smell. I can stomach actual basil so idk why this candle really just isn’t doing it for me. It’s such an odd candle too because it isn’t for the bedroom or living room. It really is strange to have a candle like this that just smells like seasoning ingredients. I will never ever order that one again.Rose currant candle smells okay. Unusual smell. Don’t like it but don’t hate it and would not mind lighting it.Incense and Myrrh smells very nice. Smells mike you think incense would smell like lol I now it isn’t a good description but it’s really nice.I wish the RE NU collection had a wider variety of scents

Smells like a spa! Wish it lasted longer, but it’s worth the price for the smell

The media could not be loaded. The fragrance is not perfume-y, but genuinely a lavender and cypress woodsy fragrance that dispersed quickly throughout the house. I like a fragrance to smell like cedar or the outdoors not sweet or a perfume, as a reference to my tastes. The jar has an indented cork lid to place the burning candle. This helps protect the surface the candle is sitting on from scratches or burns. The wick is different than other wood wick candles I have purchased in the past. It does not make the loud crackle noise, but a much softer and far less annoying soft burn. My daughter likes the traditional loud crackle, so she thinks this burn is too soft sounding. We will just agree to disagree. The wax melts quickly and evenly. I tried to peel the label off but glue residue remained on the surface of the jar. Overall wonderful candle that arrived carefully packaged and would make a lovely gift.

Wood Wick candles have always been our favorite! We especially enjoy having a candle burning in the evenings, and this is by far one of the best candle brands. They burn evenly and all the way to the end of the wick. Plus, they are long lasting, and all their scents a wonderful - no ultra heavy perfume smell. The lavender and cypress combination a unique scent, while not being overpowering. Note that this Wood Wick does not crackle as others we've had have done in the past, but the candle will be enjoyed for many evenings to come.Be aware that this comes with a rather large label on the side. While peeling it off it is possible, it leaves a large amount of residue behind that you'd have to scrape off. This should be considered if you wanted to not have the label on the jar in the middle of a table setting, for example.

Smell isn't very strong but it is pleasant.

WoodWick candles are some of my favorite candles because of the neat crackling effect when burning the wick. It kind of adds a little serenity during meditation or studying and the fragrance of this particular candle has a great smell. It doesn't last any longer or shorter than you'd expect for a candle of this size and it fits in quite a few different candle holders. The lid fits snugly and puts the candle out when placed on top without having the burnt smell when blowing it out instead. If you haven't had one of these candles before, it's definitely worth checking out because of the extra effect.
