Decently bright, deep orange, reliable
I wanted the American side marker look for my Daihatsu Sirion 2002 and it has a nice deep orange/amber tone. Not awfully bright but definitely visible and exactly what I was looking for with Philips' reliability.

Great bulbs with a warranty to back it up
These bulbs are PERFECT! I spent a bunch of money on various websites over the past 6 months trying out the cheapo, off brand LEDs that you get for a dollar a piece and let me tell you, they never worked well.I have an 05 Silverado with map lights that are designed to fit exactly around the old halogen bulbs. The “super bright” LEDs I’ve tried (ya know, the ones with a million little chips sticking out of them) never fit because the base of the bulb is so much wider than a standard halogen 194. Even the ones that are made with a longer plug didn’t fit right. They would stick into the socket just enough to light up and keep from falling out but they never fully clicked in. These are slightly wider than original bulbs but fit right in there, with the perfect amount of space to get the reflector back on around it. I’m going to update this review with an exact width measurement after I take a caliper to one of the bulbs. And they’re actually brighter somehow than any of the other ones I’ve tried even though they’ve only got about a 1/3 of the size to work with compared to the other bulbs out there and there’s a frosted plastic cover over the chips.Which is another plus with these. I’ve had cheap LEDs leave a sort of black soot on my dome light lens, the cause of which I determined to be burnt material from the edges of the board that the chips are mounted on. With a completely sealed bulb, there’s no need to worry about any chip dust.So to sum it up..1. Crisp white and very bright light production.2. Sealed bulb for less chance of moisture buildup and no flaking/ dusting from the chips.3. Sturdy, thick prongs on the plug that fit tight into the socket.4. Only slightly wider than a standard 194 (not enough to impede installation).5. Cost as of the date of this purchase is almost $5 less than 194’s from other brand name manufacturers.6. There is an 8 YEAR WARRANTY on these bulbs!Spectacular product from Philips! I’m changing every bulb on my truck to LED and if Philips makes the bulb I need, I’m buying Philips brand.Update:It’s been over a year now and they’re still lighting up my truck with the intensity of 1,000 suns.

Perfect match with my truck
The Philips LED Tag Lights are a fantastic value and work exceptionally well. I've been using them for a while now, and I'm impressed with their performance. These lights are incredibly bright and provide excellent coverage, illuminating the entire area effectively. They're perfect for a variety of applications, from accent lighting to task lighting. One of the standout features of these lights is their durability. They're built to last, and I've had no issues with them so far. They're also very easy to install, which is a big plus.Overall, I'm very happy with the Philips LED Tag Lights. They're a great value for the price, and they perform exceptionally well. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality LED lights.

Will trigger "broken light" on dashboard on 2008 Lexus RX350
This is a nice bright red LED light that fits perfectly as a red tail light on 2008 Lexus RX350.However, it will trigger the "broken light" indicator on your dashboard. The issue is that the Lexus monitors the current through the most important external lights and expects you to install an incandescent light. However, since this is an LED it consumes too little current so it looks like a broken incandescent light to your Lexus. You have the following options:(1) You can potentially install an additional resistor that increases the current consumption and just wastes it as heat. These are called CANbus detectors or CANbus adapters. They fool your dashboard into thinking that there is a working incandescent light there because you again consume current. The issue with this solution is that once your LED eventually burns out, your dashboard will continue to be fooled by this CANbus adapter into thinking that you have a working incandescent light so you may have all your important lights gone and your dashboard wouldn't have a clue. But hey, look on the bright side: at least you produced a lot of waste heat!(2) You can continue driving with the "broken light" indicator. The good thing is that you don't convert the current into waste heat. The bad thing is that once your LED burns out again you wouldn't have a clue.(3) Install these into the bumper cover tail markers instead of the tail lights. These bottom tail markers are not CANbus protected so they won't trigger any "broken light" indicators on your dash. Then put normal incandescent lights into CANbus protected tail light sockets.I chose option (3). I feel that "broken light" feature is valuable and I don't want to permanently disable it by installing resistors and various hacks.

Can't go wrong with Philips... nice, bright white light for Subaru BRZ map lights
I got this 2 pack to use in the map lights of my 2023 Subaru BRZ. This bulb is a perfect fit and provides a lot more bright, white light compared to the stock incandescent bulb (see photos, although sometimes it’s hard to tell in photos). This one does have polarity so make sure to test it out before you put things back together as you might need to insert it the other way around to get it to work. I’ve used Phiips bulbs for years and they tend to last much longer and work more consistently than the no name off-brands that you can find much cheaper. Philips is worth the higher price for something you don’t have to replace very often.
