I have had mine for months. I am not big on reviewing items. That being said, this is a great product. Extremely solid build, functions as advertised, and I personally love the darn thing. I can’t come up with anything negative about it. Whoever designed, built, and decided to sell it my hat is off to you. Well done.

I purchased two other similar devices only to learn the fine print said they were only intended for Apple products. Both were returned for 'inaccurate website description'. Politics aside, I prefer Android devices. Obviously when the Plugable brand hub+stand arrived, I skeptical. Even after seeing a Samsung Android table in the device on their company website, I proceeded with caution. My fears were unfounded. This device (never really sure with to call it) works fantastic. It is a solid mounting stand for the 10" tablet. I did purchase a USB C cable with a 90 degree connector for the side of the tablet (used in landscape mode). Space on my desk is at a premium and I have limited room for connectors. My tablet is charged and ready for adventure. I use the 3.5mm audio out for streaming music while in the office. That built in DAC function is worth the price alone. I'm a few weeks in and have no complaints. I'd say give this a shot for an Android device and you should be satisfied with your purchase.

seemed to work great for both my Samsung Tablet and Surface Pro. Had both hooked up and charging, however after a year +, both seem to no longer charge either. Now I just have 2 expensive docking stands with no charging capability.

Overall, great dock for the price (nabbed it with the $20 coupon at launch). Here is the issue I ran into. I use a Samsung Galaxy Fold 4 (Android phone). The first time I connected the dock to my LG monitor (34" Ultrawide) via HDMI and then the dock to my phone, nothing happened. The LG monitor remained black and eventually fell asleep. Then, I tried connecting my phone directly to the LG monitor with a USB-C to DisplayPort cable. The monitor immediately mirrored my phone. I launched Dex in this setup and it worked fine as well. Then, I went BACK to the Plugable dock in the first setup, and lo and behold, it works (screen mirroring and Dex)! So then I tried the same thing with my Sony XBR TV. Started with the dock and nothing happened. The TV did not detect any connection. Then I connected my phone directly to the TV via an HDMI to USB-C cable and it worked (mirroring and Dex). Went back to the Plugable dock and lo and behold it works now with my Sony TV. Plugable customer support helped troubleshoot (A+ for responsiveness, thank you Michael!) and figure this out. Apparently there is some "initial handshake" that needs to happen between the phone and the TV/monitor. It looks like this handshake happens when you use a cable to connect the phone directly to the TV/monitor. However, if you have never done this before and try to use the dock "in the middle" it won't work. I am not sure this is a Plugable problem as it is a Samsung problem. Still, I am about to go on a vacation and will need to also bring my HDMI to USB-C cable to connect to a hotel TV to do work. Not a huge deal, and the only reason I knocked it one star. I'm glad we got this sorted before my trip. I hope this helps someone else!

It's a solid and weighty base to hold a Pixel Android tablet, and especially useful if it is used for a long time on a desk. Otherwise, you might as well hold it or let it lie flat! One caution, it has to be adjusted so that the center of gravity is over the center of the base to prevent the weight of the tablet from tipping the assembly backward.

As a long-time Samsung phone owner, I remember when Samsung offered a physical Dex dock designed to connect your phone to monitor, keyboard and mouse to form a PC. Samsung abandoned that idea but, for me, the merit of this made more sense as phones rival PCs in power and performance. Why have a second laptop or PC for light work when you can use your phone for both? The portability of a phone and the ease of a computer from the same device? Sigh....to imagine such a world. I saw a tech article mentioning THIS docking stand and I knew the universe was sending me a sign. I leaped on it and lo' it works exactly how I wished. I have a Logitech wireless keyboard/mouse and my HD monitor connected. The USB-C cable smoothly syncs my phone. Android recognized the peripherals and when I unplug from the cradle it doesn't lose anything. The stand is sturdy and works with my Lenovo USB 65W plug. Truly the future is now!

The unit feels nice to the touch very strong and sturdy. Enough to securely hold my 12" iPad pro but the charging current is always different for one, and for two the charging speed is extremely slow. I used battery charging apps on two ipads and two samsung phones and ran diagnostics to confirm current flow and charge times. I reached out to the company and explained all this, they were very pleasent and professional and sent me a new unit in 2 days that they said they had tested themselves to make sure the speks were as advertised but the new unit was actually worse then the first one so I sent the new one back. Overall I'm not primarily using it to charge the battery of my iPad so the product works OK for me. I'm also not using it to connect to a monitor or connect to keyboards or mouse and I haven't tested the memory card functionality but the USB ports seem to work fine and charge my headphones, esrbuds ect. I really just bought it to hold the iPad and charge it and also use the 2 usb ports for charging guitar accessories to clean up my desk from so many charging cables which it does. But for the 100w cable I use to power this hub I would expect very fast charging of phones and iPad.

I didn't have high expectations - it was at the cheaper range of similar products - but it has performed well and I can now use my iPad more easily with the monitor next to it. Works well with my phone too

Brilliant aluminium 8 in 1 dock from Plugable. It acts as a phone, tablet/ iPad stand. In terms of ports we have 2x USB 3, HDMI, microSD, SD card, USB C 100W Pass-through Charging, audio in jack and USB C to connect your device. Compatible with Windows, iPadOS, USB-C Phones, and Tablet. In my video I was even able to connect a HP laptop via USB C and project the image to an external screen. I definitely recommend this dock.
