Complete repair kit, nothing extra to buy.
The USB Penlight pumps out enough UV light to harden the included resin, within the specified 5 seconds. I use it to assemble wargaming miniatures. I also bought a UV Nail Hardener, which is nice because it has multiple UV LED's, which bathe a miniature in a flood of UV light. I use the penlight to harden the resin, then I put the figure within the UV Nail Hardener, turning it over every 15 seconds or so, to ensure the resin is fully hardened. Overkill, but it gives me more confidence. I had a large, 65mm, metal miniature which had its hand, holding a weapon, fall off. I applied a sparse amount of resin to the joint, held it in place, then I applied the UV Penlight: it hardened, the hand and weapon are still holding, two weeks later, without issue. I applied gentle pressure to see if it would hold, and it is. This is incredibly useful for miniatures gamers who need on-the-spot repairs, quick and easy. Figures break during game play, quite often, and this will allow quick, easy repairs to be made with minimal interruption of the game! I tried to repair a broken plastic tab with the resin, yesterday. It cured, nicely, but the resin bond with the clear, hard plastic, was extremely weak, and it broke off within minutes. It is not a cure-all for every material, so experimentation will be necessary. Cheers!

Works very well and bonds pieces well
This works very well and fast too. I needed to repair a porcelain collectable figurine as I had nothing else to use. So I decided to try this. It's easy to use and the UV light included was great. I checked carefully just how the pieces of this broken girl fit together. So I started with the base and it worked well and looks very nice. Long story short, be certain just how you want things placed, hold them tightly together in the right place before you use the light. The light works fast and bonds the pieces very tightly. You can't move it to adjust the position after you have the UV light on it. Works great, read the directions carefully and put the item together very carefully. I didn't notice an odor, it wasn't too thick and it dried clear. Good product for a very good price.

A great alternative to slow-drying adhesives. Great for use on glass.
I had a Swarovski crystal ornament with two crystals that unattached from the main ornament body. We've tried many, many glass adhesives over the last two years but nothing held and took way too long to dry. We've used UV cured adhesives in the past for repair other non-glass items, so a search led us to this purchase. We wanted to make sure it was good for glass/crystal and would cure clear. It worked perfectly. We first soaked the pieces in acetone to remove all the old adhesive to ensure a good fit and adhesion. A tiny drop and a long burst (just to be sure) of the included UV light and my ornament is good as new. It cured perfectly clear and you can't see the repair at all. The bottle is enough to last for years if it doesn't dry out first. I'm sure I'll find other uses for this adhesive because it works so well. Highly recommend.

Good product
I am trying three products: Flashfix, Bondic, and Let's Resin. Let's Resin is the most generous of the three: there is more liquid plastic in the bottle. Which is good. The liquid is also thicker than the other two; so it will work better for applications where the goal is to build up thickness. Finally its flash light is the best: it is easy to hold and use AND it is rechargeable; YAY! So, in the end all three do the job. Flashfix comes in a nice, durable little plastic box. The kit offers very useful items: it has a soft scruffing file to abrade any surface you want to work one. This is great! The blue light flash light is very easy to use and works well. Its battery is insulated until you are ready to use; so it remains charged until your first project. And, they include some alcohol saturated wipes to wipe out the residual tackiness when the plastic has cured. The only downside of the Flashfix kit is that the bottle is not full; in fact it only has a little of the liquid at the bottom. The product itself works well. Bondic comes in a very good metallic etui. The applicator is very precise and easy to use. But the light is very hard to keep activated: it demands far too much thumb pressure. The product works well. The light's issue is a defining issue for me: I do not have the grip strength to use it; this is why I ordered the other two kits to try. I don't know yet how much liquid plastic is actually in the shank.

Really works GREAT!
This stuff is cool! I have a Willow Tree angel that fell & broke in a few places. It's crazy expensive to replace her, so I looked up how I could fix her! In a matter of a few seconds she was bonded back together! I also had a metal hat pin that is a collectable. The back weld broke. BAM!! Bonded better than the weld on it. I am in LOVE with this product! Bye, bye super-glue and HELLO resin bond!

50/50
It actually cures pretty quickly, but the durability is poor. The smell isn’t too strong, though. If you’re just putting this on top of something instead of physically assembling it, I recommend this product. However, if you’re trying to hold something together strongly, you’d be better off using Gorilla Glue because this product doesn’t hold anything together.

Excellent UV apoxy
I absolutly love this stuff. It was my 1st time using it and it was so easy. It's held everything I've tried it on. Metal, glass, Crystal, even an set of darts (the aluminum shafts) and its held strong. Before writing my review i read some of the other ones regarding this uv resin. I was shocked at some of the negative reviews. But I think I may be able to clear up something. Some people wrote about the resin not gluing things together. Thus resin works by activating to uv light. ONLY the resin that the light can reach will be cured and set. If the uv light can reach the resin , the resin won't cure. So if you're trying to bond items that are solid and the light can't shine through, this item will not work.

UV light repair product
Excellent product. It was very easy to use and did a phenomenal repair on my eyeglass frames. I had previously used a popular brand name product for the same repair and a) it was incredibly cumbersome to use and b) it didn't last well.
