It’s made in China. It says it on the packing. But what isn’t.

Q: Will this fit a 33 inch waste , glock 43x?

The answere to your question is yes. It is perfect for a glock a Glock 43. I do not have a Glock 43 but I do carry 5 different Glocks in this waist band. I carry a Glock 17, Glock 19, Glock 20, Glock 21, and a Glock 23. Ferrell

Q: Will it hold a 38 revolver

This is difficult to answer since 38 revolvers are different sizes. the compartment is 4 inches deep, can stretch to hold something about 3 inches in diameter, and has a hole at the bottom that stretches to about 3/4 diameter and the strap that secures the gun in is 3 inches long and stretches to about 6 inches.

Q: If the band is 55 inches long, how much overlaps when secured with Velcro?

The band is 55 in with a little bit of stretch. We recommend no larger than 54 inch of waist/abdominal and it gives your velcro a 1.5 inch overlap.
