Great character
You probably read Amelia Bedlia as a child. They are great fun but you will need to explain about people having maids or help in the house! I loved this book so much as a child
I loved this book so much as a child, and I was so happy to find this beautiful version of it with all the illustrations I remember and with the original dustjacket. It's become one of my daughter's favourites too, which is a double treasure.

Childhood Favourite.
This was my favourite book as a child. I am so glad to have a copy again and now my little girl loves it. Bought a 2nd copy for a friends little girl who's called Amelia. Now her mother understands why I've always call her little one "Amelia Bedelia".

Excellent classic book for small children. Both of my kids love the double entendres, and it gives them a chance to be "smarter" than Amelia.

Bought it for the artist of "A Fly Went By". I get the joke, its just not very funny and too over-the-top, even for a child. The artistic style is dated and not very interesting.
