I used these silicone gel finger cots to treat a severely cracked thumb, and they worked really well, especially in combination with clotrimazole cream. They helped create a moist, protected environment that sped up healing significantly. The fit is snug but comfortable, and they stay on well without slipping off during normal activities.One of the best features is that they're reusable—you can sterilize them and use them multiple times, which makes them much more economical than disposable bandages. The soft silicone also cushions the fingertip, which was great for reducing pain and irritation from daily use.These are a great solution if you're dealing with cracked skin, hand eczema, or just need to keep ointment in place on your fingertips. After struggling with bandages for my splitting peeling breaking fingernails I was relieved to find these protectors. They were a bit clumsy to wear but they fit and stayed on until I rolled them off. After wearing a number of times they do develop a hole in the very center of the tip, although they are still wearable that way. And sadly I learned that silicone is not recyclable. So one star deducted for that, but overall a big relief from messing around trying to make bandages fit and stay on.

These are great for my cut finger to put over a bandage or just over healing cut to protect and cushion. I can shower, wash hands, still work on things without hurting or reopening the cut while still healing. I went through a lot of regular bandaids every day for a finger cut while still getting moisture inside and the bandaid dirty. Wish i had had these from the beginning! Assorted sizes, trimable, very stretchy and cushions when you bump it and wont fall off when working with hands. Tight enough but not constricting. A great find!

I bought these because I have a thumbnail injury and wanted something to keep my finger dry and clean while doing dishes, showering, cleaning the litter box, etc. while it heals.It's FANTASTIC. The thumb cot keeps my Band-Aid and finger completely dry and clean. It's going to be super useful while my nail heals and I protect my thumb. It doesn't cause any pain, and it's really snug, but not too snug, preventing anything - like water - from getting inside. (That being said, I only keep it on for about 15-20 minutes or so.)Note: you can't type on your phone with these on, so be aware.Great product, and I'm really happy. I'll get a lot of use out of it.

I purchased these to help heal cracks in skin around the nails. They fit well but roll off a little too easily.

Great to wear after cuts. I’m a professional mechanic and these are a must have to keep dirt and grime away from fingers cuts.

Doc said to use these on my fingers. The silicone material rips apart / open by the second day. Directions say to cut to fit but once you cut it they last 1-2 days and rip down the side.

I only bought these because I wanted to keep my fingers dry from my cuts while the healing process. I found using these with band-aids is a good combination however your hands might get sweaty and produce moisture and will make the band aid not stick (unless you use the water proof ones).The gel finger cots are a good investment for cuts and keeping your fingers dry. The only negative is that they do get dirty quickly, they can fall off when your fingers are wet or produce moisture (you might not notice when it does fall off), some of the sizes can feel uncomforable (they can stretch).Overall, the gel finger cots does what it supposed to do. It's a good buy.
