EcoSavers Fridge LED Alarm Light

It does what it says. Light flashes after about 10-20 seconds, then Bleeper goes off after another 10-20 seconds. It is not too loud or too brigh, and gives you enough time to get what you want out of the fridge. I could not be more pleased with it.

Good little device... although I wish the light flashed at a slower rate, beep was a touch louder and maybe gave you a little longer before it started its cycle.It is a good idea and I’m glad I got it.

Often doesn't come on when fridge is opened. Flickers constantly when it does work. Less reliable than remembering to shut the fridge door which makes it pointless.

It's a lot less bright than the bulb it replaced, but I'm already use to it.It starts to flash after a while then it starts beeping. Sometimes it just beeps for a second and resets. It usually beeps continuously and it's annoying as hell. That's what I wanted though to stop me leaving the fridge door open. So I'm glad I bought it but next time I'll buy a brighter one.

Whilst this product broadly does what it says it does, there are really quite a few issues that mean i'm very tempted to change my bulb back again. Unfortunately this appears to be the only one of its type on the market, otherwise i'd be definitely shopping around.A summary of the issues I have with it:Putting the bulb in was a rather difficult fit - very tight, and seriously thought i'd broken the bulb just to get it to make contactWhen you open the fridge door, the light doesn't always come on - maybe 50-75% of the time?The light is a very harsh white light, which is very difficult on the eyesThe light has a very noticeable flicker and background buzz (and this isn't the alarm!)The light flashing at 10 seconds is just too soon, and there is no way to adjust thisThe alarm is reasonable enough if the door is wide open or if you're very nearby, but if the door is ajar and you're in the next room, you won't hear it.In summary, it has on a couple of occasions where it has indeed done its job, and warned me I left my fridge door slightly ajar, but in a month or so of use, two useful alarms vs daily frustration is a poor trade-off.

Bought this as my father has vascular dementia and keeps leaving in the fridge door wide open.I have a feeling this will drive him nuts and close the door works perfect on my fridge the flashing light is vibrant and the the low level noise is perfect.Recommended

This does what it claims to do. If you have your fridge door wide open then after a few seconds the light starts to flash rapidly, then after a few more seconds it then starts to sound a beeper.However, on my fridge at least, it is possible to not quite close the door properly yet have the light go out, making this buzzer absolutely useless for the actual scenario that caused me to buy it.I think what I actually need is a proper fridge closure alarm.If you're in the habit of leaving the fridge door wide open then it may save your bacon (literally), but for my Use Case it doesn't help me.

Light too dark, annoying flash, alarm too quiet. Please do not buy this product.
