Good enough shirts but they run large. Washed them in hot water and dried them on high heat. Now, they fit better.

So, I recently got myself this black t-shirt, and well, it's just a black t-shirt. Nothing too special about it, to be honest. The design is plain and basic – no frills, no thrills.But hey, I have to admit, it's a pretty good value for the price. I mean, you can't expect much from a basic t-shirt, right? At least it doesn't cost an arm and a leg like some branded ones out there. So, if you're on a tight budget and just need something simple to wear, I guess this t-shirt could do the trick.All in all, it's not a showstopper, but for what it costs, I can't complain too much. It serves its purpose, and that's about it.

Just what I wanted

I try to buy large tall t-shirts, and Amazon essentials don't make them. We tried these in Large. The cotton material is very nice and heavier than some other shirts, but after washing, they shrunk so that they are not a good fit for a tall guy. Lesson learned. Good value for normal sized people, and good quality.

Shrinks when washed and material heavier than expected

All I wear is tee shirts. Okay, to be clear, I usually wear pants - shorts to be precise. I’m not a button down kind of guy. I wear tees from morning to night and sometimes all night, so I wear them out pretty fast. So I’m always here buying more, usually six at a time. I can’t see spending fifty bucks for one brand name shirt when I can get Amazon Essentials that are made in the same factories for a fraction of the price. But the pre-selected sixpacks almost always end up with one or even two colors I don’t want.THE ESSENTIAL SECRETDid you know that there are more than just one selection of their store brand shirts? They don’t make the subtle differences exactly clear so I had to filter by several factors to get a side by side comparison and even then sometimes a shirt of a different color or size can be made in an entirely different factory or even country for that matter. I narrowed it down to three listings, all called Essentials and all so similar it takes some effort to see how they are different. Pocket or no pocket? Moisture wicking or not? Slim fit or regular? Things like that. Most selections came in packs of two. And for a reason I will never understand, if I picked one color they were unbelievably inexpensive but another shade could be as much as double the price.THE REALITYSo they all fit me about the same, yes the slim fit was slightly snugger than the regular but not by much. But here’s the thing that they don’t mention anywhere yet it is extremely important- some of the shirts were as much as three inches shorter than some others, or was it the other way around? This can spell the difference between a display of crack or not with some of my jeans.YES NO MAYBEOf the 3 sets of tees I chose, all from different listings of the same brand these were the longest, meaning they look the best on me and show less of the lower regions when I bend or sit.

After many wash the product is intact n colors don't fade

They are shorter than other xxl shirts I have and as a result I cannot lift my arms above my head when wearing this shirt

Really inconsistent quality, each shirt is totally different than the next. I bought a bunch of these just to wear around the house, most of them shrunk and they are showing some serious wear & tear after just two washes. Kind of a waste of money.

Cuando llegaron las playeras me di cuenta que el tamaño mediano venía mucho más grande en comparación con playeras de la marca Amazon, aún así decidí quedarmelas para usarlas en casa, sin embargo no tarde en darme cuenta que la playera venía remendada de la parte del pecho, no me molesta que venga con defectos como rasgaduras, eso puede pasar en el almacenamiento o transporte del artículo, me molesta que en si se hayan dado cuenta de la rasgadura y las hayan remendado y vendido como un producto en buenas condiciones, por lo cual pediré el rembolso.

Personally found the neck to be too tight and the shirt to be hot and a bit itchy (even after several washes).
