Very cost effective
The best part of the sentro 22 is that it works perfectly. The downsides are the lack of a row counter and the inability to clamp it down due to the shape of it's rounded bottom. I was able to velcro it down and so far, been able to count rows manually but eventually if I decide to make something precise I will need to purchase an electronic counter for it. Had to return an addi which was manufactured defective with catch points that would split yarns but my sentro does not split my yarns and I am loving it. Also, it came early even though Amazon says it has a late arrival so... don't know what's going on there.

Great for small projects
This thing definitely preferred 3-4 weight acrylic yarn. It doesn’t do well with loosely plied yarn. Otherwise easy to use and great for small projects!

Wanted to love this machine
So I got this machine because I have the 48 needle sentro and I love it, while it did take time and effort to get it working, I managed to get it up and going.This machine out of the box grinds no matter how loose you have the yarn and while this hasn't dropped a stitch yet, you can tell the gears aren't meeting or are shifting, this happens in tube or panel mode, almost like it didn't switch to either option all the way.You get no replacement needles at all.You do get a plastic embroidery needle and crochet hook that would be for fixing stitches on the needles.I wonder if the Addi would be better ,but the cost of that machine for someone testing to see if this device would be adaptive for several projects is a difficult justification.

Premie hats !!!
This machine word Awsome for premie hats .. Will be able to get a lot made for the hospitals and women’s shelters .. Highly recommend for first time knitting machine user ..

Gets stuck with trying different yarns. Just not as good as the larger models

Good for the hobbies
But they need to improve the material qualities. If you force it a little bit, you may break it easily.

It’s a hit
My niece requested something similar to this, but it didn’t get very good reviews and was approximately the same price. I gave her this on 24 December and she’s already made several items. She’s definitely loving it.
