Instruction: To use the rope supplied tie the top of the existing light chord into the rope loop and trim excess (leave enough light chord to attach a ferrule if necessary). Allow pull to hang and adjust height, re-knot and trim if necessary. To use the existing light cord thread it into the small hole, tie a knot at end of cord and slide into the large hole to conceal.

Nice item but huge!
It’s a nice item but it’s huge! I didn’t realise the size when I ordered. It clatters off the door and in the middle of the night sounds horrific! It also gets jammed in between door and wall as it’s so bulky. Prob wouldn’t have bought if I’d realised how large it is!

'Wood' definitely buy again
Lovely quality and genuinely a real pleasure to use. Purchased to replace a ceramic light pull which was steadily cracking the paintwork off the nearby door frame with use - this looks great, it's very comfortable to hold, easy to grab, and much more forgiving to the poor old door frame.
