Vector Pattern Library (Dover Clip Art Design Tools)

Love the patterns. i cant wait to use them on my designs . all the possibilities! super excited for this!

A beautiful and useful book and dvd with one major flaw:The author selected wonderful color combinationsbut did not include background colors in either the bitmap or vector images.For each selection the foreground art gets 2,3, or 4 defined colors,in both CMYK and RGBwhich work well with the backgrounds;stunningly, in fact.But those background colors,visible in the book,are omitted from the digital files!Background is set to transparent!Ideally the author would make up a text file--yes! a simple text file--with an entry for each pattern, indicatingthe background values:1a: CMYK / RGB1b: CMYK, RGB1c: CMYK, RGBIt might take a few hours to compile,but would truly make the book far more valuable.InDesign and Quark have color pickers that would make the task easy(though boring and repetitive).
