Does its job very well, relatively easy to install, you have all you need. The only issue I had with it is some sort of oil or lubricant they use on a bottom of the gate, there is some sort of fixing roller, which is dirty in that thing and my little one always likes to put her fingers in there, not even sure as well if it's safe. So just be mindful of that. Otherwise, great product, using it for over a year now.

I was skeptical about the quality because of some reviews here. Until I saw a review that said you’re dumb if you can’t fix it following instructions. Lol.I took the challenge and yes, there’s a clearly written instruction (see pic) that says the gap is not a fault. Just tighten so hard and it’d close.Lastly, the installation instruction can be quite confusing. I had to give it a break and come back to it before I had my eureka moment :DAll in all, it’s really great.

I recently purchased the Hauck Baby Gate for Doors and Stairs Open N Stop, along with the 9 cm Extension, and overall, I am quite satisfied with my purchase. This gate has been a valuable addition to my home in terms of keeping my little one safe and secure. However, there is one small issue that I wish could be improved upon.Let's start with the positives. The installation process was fairly straightforward and hassle-free. The gate itself feels sturdy and well-built, giving me peace of mind knowing that my child won't be able to bypass it easily. The Open N Stop feature is incredibly convenient, allowing me to easily open and close the gate with one hand, which is a lifesaver when I have my hands full.The 9 cm extension was a necessary addition for my wider doorways and staircases, and it fit seamlessly with the gate, ensuring a snug and secure fit. The height of the gate is adequate, preventing my little explorer from attempting any climbing adventures.Now, the only drawback I encountered was with the side extenders. While they served their purpose by extending the gate, I found that they were a bit loose and wobbly. It would be great if the extenders had a more secure connection to the gate, as this would eliminate any concerns I have about their stability. However, I must note that despite this minor issue, the gate itself remains firmly in place.

I was unsure initially what we could use to stop out Westie running into the hallway and out the front door.Within minutes we had is set up and running just using pressure to keep the frame in place. When happy with location and product I screwed the retaining cups to the door frame. Sticking them as also an option but I chose screws.Once in place one just has to adjust the adjustment wheels to ensure the gate closes properly and that all is square and aligned properly and does not pop open when pushed.It opens both ways, into and away from the door.Occasionally people are too gentle and do not close it properly or close it too hard and it opens the other way. This is not a product issue but a user issue when people do not take care.Before the retaining cups are fixed to the wall it is very easy to move from one doorway to another. Just check your doorway size before purchase as there is limited room for over or under size entriesI would buy again if I need more

We bought these for our baby when they were around 1 ish and they are now over 3. Still going strong, absolutely amazing. Holds my toddler's and baby's full weight crashing against it. I have two and they have definitely prevented a lot of potential spills so very happy! Would definitely purchase again!

When I first unpacked the gate it seemed to be very light and flimsy compared to the other gates I have used. However, after a couple of weeks of my medium size but powerfully built dog making every effort to get through the lock gate it has stood up as well as any other dog gate I have used in the past. Consequently in my opinion this is a 5 star product.

The gate installs without the need for screws (includes rawl plugs and screws if you want the option though), uses sticky pads to hold cups to the wall which the extendable legs on the side slot into. So the whole thing is held together by tension in the extendable legs, but it's pretty sturdy despite this. An adult could probably barge through it but a toddler can't, so that's good.Unfortunately, the instructions in the booklet that came with it are woeful, took three readings to work this all out and still had to consult the amazon page for the special note on how the gate works. In the booklet, all you get is a picture of a latch with two verticle lines drawn through it, which... what is that supposed to be exactly?Once that's all set up, the gate is a little stiff to work but otherwise fine and it has a catch that holds it fully open if needed. The half inch bar across the bottom is a concern, too narrow to step on but making the step it occupies narrower. Still, it's a decent product.

Struggled to find a gate suitable for wider stairs, this was one of the few. That being said I’m very pleased with the purchase. Easy to install and it’s holding up well having had lots of use

Gate is not lockable, because there is gap in between, see pictures for details issues. Easy Installation, good appearance, and size is as per described.

Das Gitter erfüllt voll seinen Zweck und ist sehr stabil. Es läßt sich ohne große Vorkenntnisse leicht moniteren und hält sehr sicher. Die Klappvorrichtung funktioniert einwandfrei und die Arretierung ebenfalls. Das Gitter läßt sich leicht mit einer Hand öffnen, nicht aber von den Kleinkindern. So soll es sein.Klare Kaufempfehlung.
