It was a bit hard at the start but got the hang of it

Decent childrens pottery wheel set. Its great for beginners. My daughter has had fun using this and learning how to make pottery. It is good value for money and would make a perfect Christmas or Birthday present.

I had high hopes for this but sadly it didn't perform for a few reasons. The construction is very very flimsy made from thin injection moulded plastic. Although it is easy to assemble, as a result it comes apart very easy, especially when in use.Especially annoying was that the instructions were very vague on how much water to add to the clay (which it called soil) to make it workable. I would have liked a guide such as 100ml or so. It simply says add water and need until it’s right – having never used a pottery wheel before the kids had no idea what that means (and nor did I). I did like the fact that you have a choice of battery or usb power but that’s the only positive I can report unfortunately - it does at least earn it the one star. I expected better for the money.
