Perfect for that Licorice Craving
Hubby bought me a 12 pack of these not too long ago and I was doing a happy dance because I am one of those "weird" people that love black licorice!!!! Thankfully, these were fresh-tasting and soft; not stale as I was worried about after reading some of the reviews left here. However, I did not leave them in the cardboard box after opening but instead transferred them to a resealable glass jar.These are the same yummy candy I grew up with and that familiar pink & white colored licorice are just as I remembered.

Issue with the opening of each individual box of candy {which I Love}.
I love these candies! However, trying to open the box is a major production. The opening part of the box has so much glue on it that you can’t open it without ripping the entire top off. This leaves no way to close the box after using! This is my 2nd box {12 box unit}, and after the 1st. box, I thought that problem was just the one box. Now, with my 2nd order, it’s the same thing. Have you noticed this?

Great Licorice!
Most of the time the candy is consistent. Every once in a while, you'll get a hard stale box. I just keep those in my car for when people in front of me are texting. Proud to say I've already cracked 3 windshields. Even better ... two of them were Teslas.

Bulk package has a lot of runt sized pieces
The bulk 5 pound bag has a lot of runts (small pieces), more candy shell to enjoy.Maybe they are using the bulk bag for the ones that fall through the sifter for their boxed candy.Just as good and delicious, just making the comment.

I Love Licorice!
These are so yummy, but only when they are fresh. It's a gamble to order. I've rec'd fresh, and I've rec'd stale. Usually fresh, though.
