Superb fun and some tips.
What a fabulous evening. Mystery game itself was not particularly taxing if you want to play proper detective but the scene setting, characters and overall experience was brilliant. Word of warning, its not overly easy to follow if, like us you were trying this type of thing for the first time, sorting food and generally hosting. My tips to make it go well.Set up a Whatsapp group and start getting people in the mood early on.Make sure you have 12 guests as with 10 you would loose some of the experience.Be very organised.Make sure everyone is really in to it. Best with people who are comfortable together.Choose characters carefully. We changed two of the genders with hilarious results, ending with a bearded daughter! We had French and Moroccan flags suspended from the ceiling, a hooker pipe, French bunting, cactus and palms and a taped body out line on the floor..Do a Moroccan mezzi to start.Spotify music like French accordion, Edith Piaf, 1940's, etc.We had a small flag for each person covering the six nationalities and played their national anthems intermittently whereby they had to stand and wave them!Colonel Otto in full Gestapo uniform conducted the table with a rendition of Edelweiss and Oom pah pah.Get drunk! Enjoy.

Good fun but rather confusing
All items were in the box. The intro CD was good. The script was good to follow however not many prompts for the characters to keep the dialogue going. One part seemed confusing. So an improved script will be helpful. Still we did manage to complete the game and everyone enjoyed it.

Fun game
12 of us played this recently and had a great evening. We were mainly experienced Murder Mystery players. It helps to have at least some participants who are extrovert or do amdram. Half the fun is seeing how long you can stay in accent! We came out of character between rounds, to eat and chat. The unscripted parts, where you have questions to ask and answers to give, were confusing to some, who asked their questions at illogical times. There are parts of other people's answers that make it reasonably clear that it's time for your question. But it can be confusing. The summing up at the end, by the detective on the CD, leaves out the 2 optional characters. This is a shame as it leaves them wondering why. Do use the optional characters if you can - they turn out to be quite interesting!

Check the contents.
As experienced and devoted murderystery fans, we enjoyed playing this game as always but just a word of warning.... Check you have got all the relevant pamphlets BEFORE you start the game. We ended up with 2 for one character and missing one for another character. Luckily the murderer's booklet was included so it didn't have too much impact but if you were not an experienced murder mystery player, it could ruin the entire evening for you. You don't find out who the murderer is until round 3 so you could be playing for a long time and come to a frustrating conclusion if you don't have all the pieces. My advice- play the game but double check on receipt of the box, not 2 months later like we did!

Best we’ve done.
We’ve done a few of these and this was the best. Can be a bit tricky if you don’t have 12 because the extra two characters have prompts and responses.
